Masterpiece anime picks that are perfect to throw on during a MapleStory 재획 grinding session
피스타임

Hello!
This is Nexon Picker PEAK Time.

(AI-made thumbnail)
When you’re grinding in MapleStory,
you usually pop a Wealth Acquisition Potion, a.k.a. jaehwekbi, before heading out to hunt.
That’s why people say they’re “doing a jaehwek.”
So I put together a list of masterpiece anime I had a blast watching during my own 재획.
Mellow, but super dependable
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End was one I went into without huge expectations.
Honestly, episode 1 was a little sleepy, so I wasn’t sure if it was really going to click,
but the more I watched, the more locked in I got, and my jaehwek pots started disappearing fast.

Frieren is definitely kind of an overpowered protagonist,
but instead of constantly stepping in herself, she travels with Fern and Stark
and supports them more like a helper, so you still get that satisfying growth-story appeal too.
And since she’s an elf who’s over 1,000 years old,
it’s really interesting watching stories from all those years unfold bit by bit.
More than anything, there’s already a pretty hefty amount of content through season 2,
and season 3 is planned too, so this one can burn through a lot of jaehwek pots.

And not long ago, it even had a MapleStory collab,
so you can get outfit items, merch, and even pets,
which means if you liked the anime, you can keep enjoying it in-game too!
Being able to do your fangirling in-game is honestly the biggest win.
Peak immersion
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Next up, I’d recommend Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
Honestly, around the time this came out was when I was basically just getting into anime.

It nails the Cyberpunk world perfectly,
and on top of that, it hits you with a genuinely heart-aching story, which makes it really good.
That said, this is one you want to watch while your hunting is easy, since it really pulls you in.
The fun of watching growth
Hunter x Hunter

Last up is Hunter x Hunter.
It’s an older manga, but it got a new anime adaptation in the 2010s,
so you can still enjoy it with a pretty solid art style.

From being just a neighborhood kid to becoming an official Hunter,
it really captures the fun of growth all the way through tackling major events,
while also giving you plenty of episodes that leave you with a lot to think about.
There are a bunch of characters with really memorable personalities too.
There’s a lot to watch, and the pacing isn’t especially fast,
so it’s a great pick if you want to chill, grind, and watch at a relaxed pace.

This lineup might feel a little too obvious.
Still, if you haven’t seen these yet, I really hope you give them a shot while hunting,
and definitely send me your own masterpiece anime picks too!
