Hey, adventurer~!

Having fun and making the most of life in Erinn?

When you're watching something,

do you ever think, “Oh~ this reminds me of Erinn in Mabinogi~”

or find yourself saying, “This is what Mabinogi would feel like as an anime!”?

Today, I wanted to share a few titles that feel like a great match for Mabinogi!

I'd love to hear what you think, adventurer😉

1 Delicious in Dungeon

In the world of Mabinogi, there are dungeons to explore,

where you battle all sorts of Fomors as you make your way through

and collect a variety of rewards along the way.

Delicious in Dungeon, by Ryoko Kui,

follows a protagonist making his way through a dungeon—just as the title suggests.

The quirky twist? The party defeats the monsters they encounter

and turns those very monsters into meals!

The dungeon setting and the characters' outfits,

along with the overall Western fantasy feel, reminded me of Mabinogi Mobile.

You don't cook and eat Fomors in Mabinogi Mobile, but…

these two feel like such a good match that a crossover event would fit right in!

Imagine an event where a special monster's attack sends the Delicious in Dungeon party tumbling into Erinn,

and it's up to you to help them get back to their own world. How fun would that be?

The monsters in Delicious in Dungeon seem more like animals with limited intelligence,

while those in Mabinogi Mobile seem every bit as intelligent as humans.

I'd love to see the heroes of these similar yet different worlds meet😆

We'd get new cooking recipes and all sorts of items, too!

What do you think?

If you've watched Delicious in Dungeon,

doesn't it feel like a great match for Mabinogi?

2 Little Witch Academia

A girl with no real knack for magic enrolls in a magic school

and works hard to become a great witch—that's the story of Little Witch Academia!

The setting has a more modern feel than Mabinogi Mobile's,

but that focus on magic makes it a lovely match for Mabinogi.

As you watch the heroine stumble her way through life at magic school,

you'll cheer her on—and sometimes wonder why on earth she'd do that~

Between this lively heroine and her best friends, there's never a dull moment.

What really stood out to me was how the heroine and her friends work hard and keep moving forward.

It felt like watching you and your companions😄

Erinn has schools that teach magic, too,

so I'd love to see a Little Witch Academia crossover build on that someday~

Witches from another world could meet Erinn's mages and stir up all sorts of trouble!

And since witches would be visiting, wouldn't a Halloween crossover be fun?

3 Howl's Moving Castle

Here's a timeless classic most of you probably know: Howl's Moving Castle!

Need I say more~ It's brimming with that dreamy, mysterious atmosphere~

All those witches and wizards fighting each other and waging war…

It does feel a little like Erinn's standoff with the Fomors.

It's exciting to see fantasy woven so naturally into every corner of the world!

And then there's the sweet, surprising romance between Sophie and Howl~

Think of a big city like Emain Macha…

It's easy to picture Sophie and Howl taking a magical walk through the air above those tall buildings.

Imagine Sophie and Howl arriving in Erinn's Emain Macha aboard their enormous moving castle~

What if you got to show them around and help them make happy memories?

Doesn't that sound lovely just to imagine?🤩

Let's give Howl's Moving Castle another watch after all this time,

then let the feeling linger by playing Merry-Go-Round of Life in Erinn.

What do you think of my picks?

You probably know some of them already—maybe you've even watched them?

If there's a title beyond these three that reminds you even more of Mabinogi Mobile,

share it in the comments~

Let's round off a happy weekend with something fun to watch!

Get plenty of rest, and see you next time, adventurer~

Bye~🖐🖐🖐
