Today, we’ll be taking another look at Maple Planet. Last time, we covered the dispatch mission in Henesys, and this time we’ll go over the Kerning City Dispatch Mission, where you are sent to Kerning City, the city of thieves.

Nineheart

Nineheart asks whether you’ve been training hard. In any case, he tells you to head to Kerning City right away and find someone named Matthias.

Once you find Matthias in Kerning City, you’ll see that his tone is every bit as sharp as his appearance suggests.

What Was Hidden in the Trash Can

Still, since there’s no one else he can assign the mission to, Matthias gives the task to the player. The first objective is to search the trash cans and obtain a Bubbling Doll.

You can find trash cans like these in the Kerning City Subway. Just double-click the nearby trash cans to get the doll.

After bringing back the Bubbling Doll, Matthias says you did fairly well and asks you to wait while he examines it.

Fake Doll

When you speak to Matthias again, he says that after investigating, the doll from the trash can turned out to be fake. According to him, the real one was absorbed by the Bubblings, so he tells you to defeat Bubblings and recover it.

He then sends you back to the Kerning City Subway and asks you to defeat 100 Bubblings and also collect 30 Bubbling Dolls.

After defeating the Bubblings and collecting the dolls, you can report back. He says he’ll sort through the dolls for a while, so you should return after reaching level 17.

I’ll Take Them All

When you speak to him again, he says there are too many dolls to tell apart, so he handed them over to Mongddangtta. He explains that he asked Mongddangtta to find the real doll, so you should go and get it back. He also says not to worry, since Mongddangtta is trustworthy.

Deal with Mongddangtta

Mongddangtta says nothing comes for free, so he asks you to go to the basement, defeat Bubblings, and collect 10 Old Keys.

Once you collect them all, you receive 1 Bubbling Doll. After that, head back to Matthias.

This completes the mission.

End of the Kerning City Dispatch Mission

Now all that remains is to return to Ereve and report to Nineheart with the doll and the report.

After examining the doll, Nineheart says that the Puppeteer, the one with the ability to control monsters, is behind the incident. However, he also says the player is still far from ready, so you should level up more and come back later.

Wrapping Up

Today, we went over the Kerning City Dispatch Mission, the second quest in Maple Planet’s Cygnus Knights storyline. It seems this mission also involved investigating a doll. I’m curious to see what the next mission will be like.
