To make clearing dungeons and everything else in Erinn a whole lot easier,

I’m sure everyone’s been putting in work on their combat power!

There are plenty of ways to boost your combat power,

but the most famous and easiest one has gotta be equipment enhancement!

But equipment enhancement...

since there’s always a chance to fail, you need a little luck on your side to reach those high enhancement levels!

That’s why, among adventurers, there are all kinds of weird but fun

superstition-style rumors about raising your luck!

Today, I’m gonna introduce a few of them!

Is there really a blacksmith who weirdly nails enhancement all the time?

These days, the hottest blacksmith in our guild is Armis!

He’s the blacksmith you can meet in Colhen Village, and apparently a ton of people have been landing enhancement successes there!

I’ve still got the memory of Armis taking my weapon all the way to +17,

and I was so hyped I was basically bouncing around😎👍

A guildmate bragged about hitting +18 there too, I think?

Everybody, let’s run over to Armis and give enhancement a try~

The next popular NPC is Goro!

Not a blacksmith or weapon merchant officially running a shop in town,

but Goro, the demon who’s friendly with our adventurer protagonist~

You can find him in the southeast corner of Dunbarton!

If enhancement hasn’t stuck for you in any village...

why not take a leap of faith and ask Goro for help?

On the flip side, the absolute worst blacksmith for nonstop enhancement fails is...

surprisingly, Aodhan of Bangor!

I thought I was the only one who kept failing there,

but after talking with my guildmates, it turned out we’d all had the same experience💦

Before I started going to Armis, I used to get every enhancement done by Aodhan,

but not a single weapon or piece of armor would succeed, so I stopped going for good!

He’s great at Transcendence Engravings,

but for equipment enhancement, he really doesn’t seem to have the touch😭

Next up, let me share some Erinn rumors that supposedly boost your enhancement success rate~

Near the Dunbarton plaza, there’s a fountain with a statue of a girl standing on it!

Did you know an interaction button pops up when you get close?

If you interact with it, you can toss in a coin,

and there’s a certain chance a tiny firework will pop above your character’s head!

On a day when you want to challenge enhancement!

How about running to the fountain, tossing in a coin, and checking your luck for the day?

If a firework pops over your head after just a few throws,

or if it goes off on the very first try, that might just mean your enhancements will stick that day!

But if you keep tossing in coins

and nothing pops above your head...

maybe it’s better to save enhancement for another day😅

And if there’s anything else besides enhancement where you’ve gotta beat the odds,

try tossing a coin into the fountain too~

There’s also a rumor that if you visit the cathedral, bow deeply, and pray super earnestly before trying enhancement,

it sticks really well!

The only thing you can trust is yourself!

If you keep failing no matter which blacksmith you go to,

and your pity points end up completely filled!

Then gather some firewood, light a fire, and try enhancing it yourself!

According to a guildmate, they tried enhancing solo and actually hit a high enhancement success...!

Recommended places include the campfire on the guild ship,

bonfire spots scattered around the hunting grounds,

and the snowman hill in Sidhe Sneachta, too~

You’ve got nothing to lose, so isn’t it worth trying at least once?
