This time, the topic is lucky enhancement spots, so I will be discussing enhancements and random draws in games.

I always liked the scenery in The Seed lobby, and even the air looked clear, so I used to open my ring boxes from The Seed there and do most of my other draws and enhancements in the same spot. Switching locations later on did not seem to change the results, though, and I cannot remember it ever making much difference. With that in mind, it is hard for me to confidently recommend any particular spot.

Other players have their own go-to enhancement maps, with popular spots including the top of the cherry blossom tree in Elluel, an empty house in Ludibrium, beside Manji in Perion, and the lower river in Lachelein. In a post I saw recently, someone asked AI to suggest a map, then rolled cubes there and got 3 lines of Attack on their Bonus Potential, so that might be an approach worth trying as well.

Players seek out these lucky spots in the hope that their enhancements and draws will go well, and for this post, I have put together the key details about some of MapleStory's main random-draw items. Many of the terms come up regularly in discussions, but looking them all up separately can be a hassle when you are just starting out, so I hope this helps newer players.

[Royal Style]: A cash item for cosmetic draws

Royal Style is a random-draw cash item available year-round, with a lineup that changes with each monthly update. The schedule used to vary a little, but it now follows a fixed pattern: each lineup is available immediately after an update and stays until maintenance begins for the next one.

For example, this month's update took place on 5/14 (Thu), and the next is scheduled for 6/18 (Thu), so the current Royal Style lineup is available after maintenance on 5/14 (Thu) until maintenance begins on 6/18 (Thu).

The items you receive depend on the gender of the character opening it.

The main draw of Royal Style is the cosmetics classified as Special Label. Each lineup brings a new set in the series, which is already up to series 157. These are limited items that do not return after their initial release.

Each Special Label series offers an additional reward for equipping every piece of the set. Apparently, some past rewards were not chairs, but these days, the reward is a chair matching the Special Label theme. You have until 23:59 on the day before maintenance to complete this quest.

Special Label sets arrive alongside other cosmetics commonly called “miscellaneous Royal items.” These also get new themes each month, with outfits, chairs, Label Rings, and Quote Rings in the lineup. Label Rings and Quote Rings are available in separate 30-day and permanent versions.

You can preview the Special Label cosmetics and new miscellaneous Royal items mentioned above in the Test World 1 week in advance.

A random selection of previously released miscellaneous Royal items also returns alongside the new additions. Unlike the new items, these cannot be previewed in the Test World, so the returning lineup is only revealed once the update goes live on the main server.

The 2 items shown above are examples of what can happen: both were still priced at over 10,000,000,000 mesos the day before the patch, then dropped sharply in price immediately afterward. If an item you want is too expensive, falls into the miscellaneous Royal category, and was released quite some time ago, waiting a little longer may be the wiser choice.

Here is the probability table for the 2026/6 Royal Style lineup. As you can see, a lower draw rate does not necessarily mean a higher price.

[Premium Masterpiece]: An item for fusing Special Label items

Masterpiece and Premium Masterpiece are available year-round and let you fuse Special Label items from Royal Style. The results follow set probabilities, with Red Label, Black Label, Master Label, and Hair Coupon items among the possible outcomes.

Premium Masterpiece gives you a tradable result regardless of whether the materials were tradable, so it is the one you should use.

The features of each label are shown below. All label items other than Special Label receive random, time-limited stats, and this update also added HP and MP options to tops, bottoms, overalls, and shoes.

This official guide explains the fusion process well. The main thing to keep in mind is that the base item's equipment slot determines the slot of the resulting item.

You can find the exact probabilities on the official website. Masterpiece Red covers fusions between Special Label items, while Masterpiece Black covers fusions between Red Label and Special Label.

As shown above, using Red Label as the base increases your chance of getting Master Label. Here are the current probabilities.

Master Label also rotates, but much less often than Special Label, with roughly 9–10 months between sets.

It offers the best set bonuses of all the labels.

New Master Label sets are also revealed in the Test World 1 week before the update, giving you time to prepare if needed.

There are also rewards for equipping the full set and applying the hairstyle, so it is worth checking the details when they become available.

[Wisp's Wonderberry]&[Luna Crystal]: Items for vac pet fusion

Wisp's Wonderberry is another random-draw item available year-round, and it works much like Royal Style.

Luna Crystal is also available year-round and works much like Premium Masterpiece.

Opening Wisp's Wonderberry gives you items at the rates shown above. The rare Wonder Black pets serve the same role here as Special Label items.

Occasionally, an update to the Wonder Black and regular pet lineup is followed by Wonderful Week, an event that runs for a week immediately after the live-server update and increases the chance of getting Wonder Black by 20%. When one is planned, you can find out about it in the Test World 1 week in advance.

The fusion process is also the same as with Premium Masterpiece. Here is how the pets and equipment correspond to Royal Style items.

• Wonder Black = Special Label

• Luna Sweet = Red Label

• Luna Dream = Black Label

• Luna Petite (vac pet) = Master Label

• Shared Petite Pet Equipment → The equivalent of a Hair Coupon, but with low value

Using Luna Sweet as the base increases your chance of getting Luna Petite, just as using Red Label does for Master Label. The probabilities are shown below and are also available on the official website.

For the fusion result to be tradable, you must use a tradable pet as the base.

Vac pets are modeled after the characters wearing each series of Master Label outfits. They are considered essential for grinding, and equipping all 3 pets from the same series grants a set bonus that increases their range. This bonus only applies within the same series, so make sure all your pets match if you want the extra range.

Some collaboration events introduce a separate Special Luna Crystal, as shown above. When you use it for fusion, any vac pet you obtain will be a collaboration vac pet. The same set bonus rule applies here: you need to equip 3 pets from the same series to activate it.

Vac pets reportedly rotate about once every 1 year, though collaboration releases like those above are said to delay the rotation slightly.

Equipping all three pets also lets you claim a chair matching the theme of their series.

Finally, 부티크 기프트 is a random-draw item released at particular times. Its releases so far are listed below.

As you can see, releases have been spaced 3 months apart, except for the first interval. The initial release was available for 2 months, while each release since then has been available for 1 month.

Opening 부티크 기프트 gives you item exchange tickets at set probabilities. The tickets are renamed to suit each theme, so you will need to check their name each time; most recently, they were simply called “부티크 티켓.”

The possible ticket quantities and their probabilities are shown below, and Fever Time activates every time you open 10 gifts.

You can redeem set quantities of item exchange tickets for specific items. The selection changes randomly with each release, but it includes titles commonly called “tonic titles” and cosmetic sets with time-limited stats known as “combat outfits.” The most recent lineup included the 솔 헤카테 skin. The cosmetics range from fairly ordinary options to more distinctive items, such as small herbivores. You can browse the latest selection of exchangeable items here.

Using a certain number of 부티크 기프트 also earns you cosmetic rewards such as chairs, mounts, and outfit sets.
