The memories of raising my Union in MapleStory M that have stayed with me... and where I am now #스승의은혜

Hello.
This time, the keyword is gratitude to a mentor, so I wanted to write a little about times in-game when I received help, and times when I was able to help someone else.
While playing MapleStory, there were certainly many people who helped me in all sorts of ways, and there were also times when I was the one offering that help. What comes back to me most clearly is the period when party play in The Seed was still possible. Back then, I remember helping quite a few people who were just getting started. At the time, the so-called 2급작—clearing only up to Floor 41 to farm ring boxes—was quite popular, and Floor 22 was probably the biggest hurdle in that process. But if we practiced together using practice tickets, people often got through it surprisingly quickly, and that felt genuinely rewarding for both sides.
Still, none of those moments really remain as records now, and because they live only in memory, I found myself wondering what I could actually point to more clearly. While thinking that over, I remembered the posts I had written about MapleStory M 유니온 육성, so I decided to bring those here instead.
Memories of raising MapleStory M for PC MapleStory linking, which used to be quite difficult

At the time, I do not think I was actually playing MapleStory on PC, but I do remember that I was playing MapleStory M. Because I wanted to be of some help to other people then, the posts I wrote ended up being guides for MapleStory M aimed at linking with PC MapleStory.

The posts above were written about two months apart, and if I remember correctly, that was because a new class would come out every two months and could take advantage of linking events and support events. Looking back now, those linking rewards feel quite unfamiliar.

Now that so much time has passed, the difficulty has been eased in many ways. Especially during last winter’s EXPAND update season, even the required experience after Level 200 was reduced tremendously. So when I think about how, by making use of events and showcase gifts, it was possible to reach even Level 250 in around 30 minutes, the amount of time that was required back then feels quite striking.

That process too, looking at it now, seems to have involved quite a lot of small details that needed attention.

At the time, there were also cases where mesos were needed for leveling, so I even sent mesos like this to people who needed them. Looking at the number of comments now, it seems there were rather more applicants than I had remembered. I am glad that this, too, has now become an unnecessary step.
Things have been eased quite a lot now, but……

And as I mentioned, things have been eased considerably now. In fact, even looking at a related post I wrote just two months ago, I could confirm that, outside of a major event season, reaching Level 120—which is a reasonable target to aim for—was possible in only about 10 minutes.

In the meantime, I heard there had been some changes through an update, so I went and checked for myself. What I found was that character creation through skipping, along with the fast growth option, had been removed, and in their place there is now a newly added common tutorial shared by all new characters.

Because of this update, the inconvenience involved in leveling to 200 has increased, so I have been seeing many people express disappointment with the patch. Since the tutorial proceeds by having you click through major functions and content one by one in very fine detail, it does feel considerably more cumbersome compared with the fast growth system from only two months ago.
Seeing that the tutorial starts from the very beginning even when you create a different character, it seems likely that this applies to all characters. If that is indeed the case, then I can certainly understand the hardship felt by those who seriously do 유니온 육성 in MapleStory M.

Through the tutorial, it takes around 10 minutes to reach Level 100, and after defeating Crimson Balrog and hitting Level 100, you leave that village area and arrive in a regular town. Since there does not appear to be any separate dedicated dungeon, it seems that party hunting in the Star Force Field is the only way to get from there to Level 120.
Of course, at the present time, going from Level 100 to Level 120 can still be done fairly quickly. And if your purpose is to raise a character for PC MapleStory linking, simply getting to Level 120 first is already a meaningful help, so even now the rewards are still worthwhile compared with the time invested. In the case of auto-battle, it continues even if you close the game, so you can simply join a party at the hunting ground and then exit.

As for leveling all the way to 250, I think it would be best to wait until the 2026 summer update, which will be revealed soon, and decide after seeing that. Whether the specifications of this Born to V event and similar events will remain the same as before, and what form the showcase gifts and related events will take, are things that will need to be checked once the detailed information is released. I can only hope it arrives as smoothly as it did in the winter season.
Thank you for reading.
