I liked Maeryeok Manjeom, so I only bought that one,

and for me, since I was wearing transparent glasses at the time, Maeryeok Manjeom honestly felt like a whole new world.

It was the same outfit, but that one tiny pixel somehow made my character look prettier, you know?

Maybe other players felt the same way I did back then,

because while Maeryeok Manjeom was going for around 400 to 600 million, Maeryeok Manjjeom sat in the 100 to 200 million range.

Once the 134th Special Label sales period ended, the prices of Maeryeok Manjeom and Maeryeok Manjjeom started rising sharply,

and Maeryeok Manjeom was definitely more expensive at first, but as time went on, Maeryeok Manjjeom ended up becoming the pricier one.

Was there really any reason for Maeryeok Manjjeom to cost more than Maeryeok Manjeom?

I didn’t really get it at first either, but after trying some coordis in Maple Child Dress Room, I understood.

Maeryeok Manjeom only has one dot, so sometimes it barely shows up,

and because of where that dot sits, a lot of hairstyles end up covering it, so there are quite a few limits when you’re styling with it, but

Maeryeok Manjjeom has two dots, so it stands out much more,

and since they sit on the cheek, it looks good with pretty much any hairstyle.

That’s why Maeryeok Manjjeom ended up overtaking Maeryeok Manjeom in price,

and now, a year after release, even though it’s just a misc-label item, it has become a coordi item that goes for the 20 billion range.

Because the price got so high, a lot of players, me included, were hoping Maeryeok Manjeom and Maeryeok Manjjeom would get a rerun,

and finally! On May 14, 2026, in the 157th Special Label Heart-Pounding Ready? Action! Set,

Maeryeok Manjeom and Maeryeok Manjjeom got rerun!!!

I went to the Auction House to check the price of Maeryeok Manjjeom,

and it was around 2.4 billion... is that for real?

I was willing to buy it if it was around 1.5 billion, but this is way too expensiveㅠㅠ

Since that was about the same as the price of 20 Royal Styles,

I started thinking, wouldn’t it be better to just try pulling it myself? So

I checked the Royal Style rates...

The pull rate for Maeryeok Manjeom and Maeryeok Manjjeom was 1.5%

So I’m thinking, 1.5% should be easy as pie.

If I pull it within 20 Royal Styles, that means I get Maeryeok Manjjeom and even a Special Label on top of that.

How could I not try this????

While writing this post, I’d been having pretty good luck in MapleStory today,

so I thought, just maybe, and bought 10 Royal Styles twice to try again,

and wow, my precious 132,000 Cash

I really should’ve just sold the Royal Styles in the Auction House and bought it with the mesos instead..

Another day of failing to play MapleStory wiselyㅠㅠ

At least other cash items can be paybacked,

but trash like chairs, nameplates, and chat bubble rings can’t even be paybacked, so every time I look at them

how much are players really going to make from paybacking those anyway,

so can’t they just let us payback them too?

In the end, I bought it from the Auction House for about 2.2 billion.

Maeryeok Manjjeom really is gorgeous..

I’d worn Maeryeok Manjeom for so long that I got tired of it, so I handed it over.

For a while, I’m just going to wear Maeryeok Manjjeom~

Maeryeok Manjeom and Maeryeok Manjjeom are both so pretty that it’s hard to rank one over the other,

so if you’re into coordi, I’d recommend buying both, but

don’t do what I did and try to pull them through Royal Style,

please just buy them in the Auction House..😭
