Today, we’ll be taking a look at a Cygnus Knights-exclusive quest in Maple Planet. This is the first quest you do after clearing the tutorial. Since it comes from before the Returns revamp, it makes this one especially interesting. This time, we’ll be going over Henesys Dispatch Mission.

Nineheart

As soon as Nineheart sees that the player has reached level 13, he immediately assigns a mission.

The mission Nineheart gives you is Henesys Dispatch Mission. He tells you to meet the informant Roca in Henesys and carry out the assignment there.

After heading to Henesys, I met the informant Roca, who looked very suspicious. It seems quite a bit of time had passed since I last went to Ereve.

Cynical Orange Mushroom

Roca says the Orange Mushrooms have seemed unusually suspicious lately. Judging by their behavior, this may be connected to the Black Mage’s followers, so he asks you to defeat 50 Cynical Orange Mushrooms and then bring back a Strange Object as well.

For reference, the Cynical Orange Mushrooms are located at the upper right side of Eastern Hill of Henesys. See that suspicious-looking sign over there? Go through the portal there, and you’ll reach the right area.

Once you turn in the 50 kills and the suspicious item, the first mission is complete.

The Black Shadow of the Pig Farm

If you talk to Roca again, you can move on to the next quest. He says there’s a suspicious shadow in East Henesys Grassland and asks you to click around the grass to investigate.

Head to East Henesys Grassland and click the nearby patches of grass. If something appears and you get a message telling you to return to Roca, just head back.

That clears the second quest.

The Pig Rebellion

When you speak to him again, Roca says something serious has happened. A pig rebellion has broken out nearby, so he asks you to defeat 100 Pigs and 50 Ribbon Pigs. On top of that, he also wants you to obtain a Pig Doll.

For reference, if you head back to East Henesys Grassland, you’ll find the mini-dungeon Henesys Pig Farm. This is where you can hunt Ribbon Pigs and Pigs. Form a party, then enter.

The quest ends with the remark that this whole incident was caused by the doll.

Henesys Dispatch Mission Complete

That wraps up the dispatch mission. Once you’re done here, head back to Nineheart.

Nineheart looks at the doll and falls into deep thought. He also tells the player to come back after reaching level 16.

Wrapping Up

Today, we went over the Henesys Dispatch Mission quest in Maple Planet. Since this is essentially the first Cygnus Knights story quest from before the revamp, it left quite an impression on me, and revisiting it after so long felt nostalgic.
