In Mabinogi Mobile, once you start pushing for +16 enhancement, the success rate is fixed at 1%.

That rate is already insanely low, and as the enhancement level climbs,

the rune fragments and pity gauge you need keep increasing,

so from +16 onward, you really need unbelievable enhancement luck on your side.

But I finally hit weapon +18!!!

I actually beat that brutal 1% chance three separate times.

So today, I want to share the personal enhancement hotspot that carried me all the way to +18!

My weekly Monday routine

Every Monday, I start my full enhancement prep while collecting my Abyss rewards!

It’s when I open all the dice and Mystic Keys I’ve been steadily saving throughout the week.

I dismantle all the gear that drops, and I rank up every rune I’ve been stockpiling.

These days, I’ve already gathered all the runes I want, and my runewords are nearly finished,

so honestly, the 'rune fragments' you get from failed rank-ups feel even better now!

And once I’ve loaded up on rune fragments on Monday, the place I head to is Banghor.

My enhancement partner! Aidan

My enhancement hotspot is right in front of the blacksmith NPC Aidan in Banghor.

I’ve been loyal to Aidan ever since I started attempting +15.

Ever since the Banghor area update, I’ve been doing all my enhancement through Aidan,

and maybe it’s just in my head, but it really feels like the success rate is much higher.

Weapon +16 succeeded last September!

It kept refusing to go through, so I was basically half giving up and just tapped it on my phone while I was on the subway,

and it suddenly succeeded—I still remember nearly yelling out loud..!

I remember weapon +17 landing around January last year.

I went for it without expecting much that time too, but it stuck surprisingly easily. Maybe clearing your mind is the secret?

Sadly, I couldn’t find the screenshot.

Weapon +18 came through most recently, on April 15!

This time too, I had emptied my mind—and then +18 stuck right away, which completely shocked me.

And that’s not all—my top and bottom pieces, both currently at +15, are also Mr. Aidan’s work.

At this point, doesn’t it really deserve to be called an enhancement hotspot?

Any personal jinxes?

On the other hand, the NPC I’ve had especially terrible enhancement luck with is Nerys in Dunbarton.

Dunbarton is so convenient to get to that a lot of people go to Nerys, but for me, she’s just never been a good fit.

Maybe it’s because there are always too many people crowded around there, so it feels exhausting(?)

I still have painful memories of failing multiple times even with high rates like 50~80%.

Even my alts usually get bad results when I hand their enhancement over to Nerys,

so now she’s basically become an NPC I skip.

So that’s my personal enhancement hotspot and routine.

Of course, every player feels differently about which places are lucky or unlucky for enhancement,

so I hope you’ll just enjoy this as a bit of light fun.

For now, I’m giving my weapon a short break,

and I’m planning to enhance the rest of my accessory slots too with a little help from Mr. Aidan’s energy!
