[MapleStory] A feast for the ears! #게임 A list of masterpiece tracks I’d love to hear as an orchestra performance

Hello,

I’m Jaymer, a Nexon Picker.

Do you listen to game BGM often?

I definitely do—I listen to it all the time!

Usually, when I’m working and need to focus, rather than putting on songs with lyrics,

I find myself reaching for familiar game 브금 that my ears already know and love.

So today, I wanted to share the tracks that I think would feel even more moving in an orchestral arrangement

5 MapleStory BGMs I truly adore!

1. Cygnus Garden (Cygnus Garden)

First up is Cygnus Garden, my favorite Maple BGM of all time!

I’m sure this is a track that consistently ranks among the greats for a lot of players too.

It plays during the battle against Boss Cygnus,

and I honestly think it perfectly captures both the tragic story of having to fight the fallen Empress and the sheer grandeur of the Empress herself.

This piece was actually performed 9 years ago at 'MapleStory Symphony in Budapest'.

Even now, listening to it again is so beautiful it’s enough to give me chills.

If you still haven’t heard it, I really recommend giving it a listen at least once!

2. Serenity (Serenity)

My 브금 taste is honestly very consistent.

A track I treasure just as much as Cygnus Garden is Serenity, which appears in the Dimensional Library story.

Its signature atmosphere—calm on the surface, yet grand at the same time—is absolutely wonderful.

As far as I know, Serenity still hasn’t been performed at an official orchestra concert,

so it’s my number one dream pick to hear live someday ㅎㅎ

3. Temple of Aurora (Temple of Aurora)

Next is the Temple of Aurora BGM, which naturally comes to mind whenever I listen to Serenity!

Maybe it’s because of its connection to the Black Mage narrative, but the sheer grandeur of this one is enough to give you chills as you listen.

If you love the emotional atmosphere of Serenity, I think this track will be right up your alley too.

There’s an orchestral version that was performed around 7 years ago,

and the fuller resonance unique to the orchestra, along with the slight rearrangement, was absolutely gorgeous :)

4. Stormy Forest (Stormy Forest)

Come to think of it, this track also appeared in the Black Mage storyline of the Dimensional Library!

The atmosphere of the piece itself is so deep and majestic,

that I can only imagine how powerful it would sound performed by an orchestra.

Not many people seem to know the Stormy Forest BGM, so it might be hard to hear it arranged for orchestra..

but even just imagining those tense strings ringing through a live concert hall is enough to give me goosebumps!

5. Ximending (Ximending)

Last up is a slightly unexpected pick: the overseas travel map Ximending BGM!

The map is gone now and can no longer be visited,

but every time I hear this track, it brings back memories of those days along with that uniquely lively Taiwanese energy, so I’ve always loved it.

I was also really happy to hear it show up very briefly in the recent official YouTube content 'Office Hero Kim Seokjin'.

If that bright, upbeat melody were rearranged into an orchestral version,

I’d absolutely love to hear how fresh and wonderful it would sound +_+

So that was my roundup of 5 Maple BGMs I’d love to hear in orchestral form.

Some have already been brought to life on stage,

while others still exist only in my imagination—but there’s no doubt that every one of them is a masterpiece worth listening to again and again.

After putting this list together, I was reminded once again that MapleStory really has so many treasure-like tracks.

What game music would you most want to hear live in an orchestral concert someday?
