Today, we’re taking a look at 메이플 플래닛. While the game was down for maintenance today, a new update arrived: the release of the Cygnus Knights, the classes that begin their journey in Ereve. In this post, we’ll take a closer look at their release.

Cygnus Knights Release

The Cygnus Knights are now available in 메이플 플래닛. The game has been getting a lot of attention lately, and today’s update added the Cygnus Knights following server maintenance. Of course, they might not feel entirely new, as they’ve already appeared in other custom maps and servers. 메이플랜드 2.0 had also announced them, and they’re already available in 로나월드. But how do they play in 메이플 플래닛? Let’s find out.

Gameplay

The Cygnus button used to be grayed out, but now it’s in color. That means these classes are ready to play. I’ll click it to get started.

Everything up to this point is much the same as before, so I’ll skip over it for now. In 메이플랜드 Tespia, you started the tutorial at level 10 because it was a test server. Here, it looks like the tutorial has been implemented too.

As expected, the tutorial starts in the Forest of Beginning 1. I was already familiar with this from other servers, but seeing it recreated so well makes it feel much more alive.

Another detail is the helper pet, which didn’t appear on other servers. In 메이플 플래닛, it’s right there beside the player. It brings back memories, and it’s great to see it recreated so well.

You can level up from 1~10 through the tutorial. 메이플 플래닛 awards plenty of quest EXP, so leveling is very quick. Just keep going until you reach level 10.

Once you reach level 10, you can choose your class. The options are Dawn Warrior, Wind Archer, Blaze Wizard, Night Walker, and Thunder Breaker. Since I played a Blaze Wizard in 메이플랜드 Tespia, I’ll go with Thunder Breaker here.

With that, I’ve made the job advancement to Thunder Breaker. Once you’ve done the same, complete the quest at the training ground entrance to keep leveling. It can take you to level 13~15, so be sure not to skip it!
