Hello, this is GameSky.
Today, I’m checking out MapleLand again after a long time—but this isn’t the usual MapleLand. This is 2.0 Tespia. It hasn’t officially launched yet and is still in testing. So today, let’s take a closer look at MapleLand 2.0 Tespia.
Let’s get started.

About MapleLand 2.0 Tespia |
|---|

MapleLand 2.0 Tespia is the MapleLand 2.0 test server that was released in the second half of April. Since it’s still a test server, it hasn’t officially launched yet. More specifically, it’s being run as a public alpha test. Compared to the existing MapleLand, Tespia feels much more polished. It really gives off the feeling of a true recreation of classic MapleStory. So, let’s take a look.

This is what the start screen looks like. It really is classic MapleStory through and through. At the moment, Tespia seems to be the only server available, so it looks like the others haven’t been released yet. Personally, I’d love to see servers like Mardia and Scania added as well.

Looking at the character selection screen, it doesn’t seem all that different from the MSW servers or user maps that recreated classic Maple. Now, let’s make a character.

On the character selection screen, you can choose from Adventurers, the Cygnus Knights, and the Hero Aran. I honestly didn’t expect the Cygnus Knights and Aran to be the first ones released on the test server. I decided to go with the Cygnus Knights.

Anyway, I made a Noblesse character from the Cygnus Knights. Since it starts at level 10, it looks like the tedious tutorial hasn’t been implemented yet. Now, let’s jump in.

Anyway, let’s move on to the job advancement. The available options are Soul Master, Wind Breaker, Flame Wizard, Night Walker, and Striker.

I wanted to advance to Flame Wizard, so I talked to Oz. As the youngest knight commander, Oz has a slightly airheaded way of speaking.

Anyway, I’m going to advance to Flame Wizard—a class that can summon a fire spirit to fight alongside you and use fire magic.

Flame Wizard job advancement complete! The red Magic Claw is definitely the standout point here. And since this is a test server, you can just select whatever you want from Cassandra.

On top of that, unlike the earlier version of MapleLand, the portal delay feeling seems to be completely gone now. As a result, the game moves along much more quickly.

Today, we took a look at the MapleLand 2.0 Tespia server. Even though it’s still a test server, you can clearly see just how polished it already is. Maple Planet, which has been trending lately, is also quite polished, but I’m still very curious to see what happens if 2.0 gets an official release.
