Hello, fellow Nexon game fans!

I'm 재파민!

They say people turn to superstition when they're desperate or want something badly enough. Whenever MapleStory holds a Shining Star Force or Miracle Time event, I try enhancing my gear on specific maps.

Of course, enhancing on a particular map doesn't actually improve your chances of success, but I can't help feeling a little luckier. Besides, enhancing calls for a suitably reverent frame of mind, so I think having a little ritual of your own is a good thing.

In case it helps even a little, I'd like to share some of my favorite lucky enhancement spots.

Arcana: Spirit Tree View

If someone asked which map means the most to me, my answer would be Spirit Tree View in Arcana. I think I've successfully enhanced over 10 pieces of gear here alone.

I've finished plenty of worthwhile upgrades here: a 17-star Arcane Umbra weapon, a 22-star Meister Ring, a 22-star Guardian Angel Ring, 22-star Estella Earrings, and a Genesis weapon with three lines of Boss Damage on its main Potential, among others.

I also have fond memories of idling here with friends while chatting on Discord, which makes this place all the more meaningful to me.

Leafre: Dragon's Egg

You can hang from the Dragon's Egg in Leafre. Between the cute rear view of your character and that unusual interaction, it's a popular enhancement spot among YouTubers, too. I had some good luck here during Miracle Time a while back.

Korean Folk Town: Forbidden Cliff

The last spot I'd like to share is Forbidden Cliff in Korean Folk Town. Many players come to Forbidden Cliff with a little wish in mind: “Don't let my Star Force drop—don't let it fall.”

Star Force has since been patched so that stars no longer drop, but this is still a popular lucky enhancement spot. My success rate here is a little low, so I just stop by to look around now and then.

With their pretty scenery, these lucky enhancement spots are popular places for screenshots, too. Give them a try during events like Shining Star Force, or when you're taking a photo with your guildmates. Thanks for reading!
