Top 3 Must-Watch Anime to Put On While Grinding in MapleStory

Hello to everyone who loves Nexon games,

I’m Jaepamin!

What do you all do while hunting? I usually write posts or watch dramas and YouTube. Ever since I got Sol Janus to Level 10, it’s gotten to the point where I can almost do it with my hands off the keyboard, so leveling has been super comfortable lately.

These days, I’ve been bingeing anime I already like or ones I’ve been meaning to watch. Hunting while watching something fun makes the time fly, and it also makes me feel like I’m really making the most of my day, which I love.

So today, I put together a Top 3 masterpiece anime list to make your hunting life even more rewarding—hope it helps, and let’s jump right in!

(All the anime I’m recommending in this post are available on Netflix.)

  1. Yomi no Tsugai

First up is Yomi no Tsugai. A lot of you probably noticed it right away from the art style. It’s a dark fantasy anime currently being serialized by the creator of the mega-hit Fullmetal Alchemist, 11 years later.

It’s already popular enough to have sold 6 million copies in total, and even more people started hearing about it after its anime adaptation was confirmed. As of the date I’m writing this, only up to episode 7 is out, so I think this is actually the perfect time to get into it.

Fullmetal Alchemist is my number one anime of all time, so I’m definitely planning to keep binge-watching Yomi no Tsugai.

  1. My Hero Academia

Second is My Hero Academia. It’s a shonen series packed with basically everything people love—school life, action, superpowers, you name it. This one is so famous that you’ve probably heard of it at least once.

The cast is full of charming characters, and even the villains have solid backstories, so pretty much everyone around me has nothing but good things to say about it. The ending is a little disappointing, and there are some brutal scenes here and there, but it’s still very watchable. If you like a more cartoon-style art style, I think this will be even more your thing!

  1. Slam Dunk

Last but not least, the final masterpiece I want to recommend is Slam Dunk. A lot of you probably saw this and immediately thought, “Hmm... isn’t that a little too old..” I thought the exact same thing and put off watching it for over 10 years, but now that I’ve finally started it, I completely get why people call it a masterpiece.

I probably enjoy it even more because I like basketball, but I still think even people who aren’t into basketball could enjoy it just fine. Some parts of the progression do feel a little old-school, but it moves along quickly without dragging things out, and the story itself mixes youth, romance, and comedy, so it’s a really fun and easy watch.

And that wraps up my Top 3 masterpiece anime recommendations that are great to watch while playing MapleStory. There are honestly a lot more classics that come to mind, but I picked ones you can watch easily on Netflix, and if I get the chance to write a similar post later, I’ll show off even more of my otaku power. Thanks for reading!
