Sometimes when you're playing a game, your character's look leaves a little something to be desired—especially when it comes to their hairstyle.

Today, I started imagining what some of my favorite MapleStory hairstyles would look like

on Mabinogi Mobile characters,

so I've put together a few hairstyle redesign ideas.

I asked Google Gemini to create these images, reimagining the hairstyles in the style of Mabinogi Mobile!

I was surprised by how well they fit the atmosphere of 모비노기—better than I'd expected.

1. Dreamy Vibes! Long Two-Tone Pink Hair

Here's a side-by-side look at the original version (left) and the redesigned version (right).

I went with long, naturally wavy hair in a two-tone blend of pink and light purple.

Mabinogi Mobile already has long hairstyles,

but if we got one with a two-tone gradient this detailed,

I think it would be a big hit.

The game's signature soft visuals paired with those delicate two-tone shades give the look a much more ethereal feel.

2. The Ultimate Clean Look: A True White Ponytail

For the second comparison, the original is again on the left and the redesigned version is on the right.

I've always been a little disappointed that 모비노기 doesn't currently offer true white or black hair colors.

Pairing a dazzling shade of true white, like the one in the image on the right,

with a full, voluminous ponytail makes the character look so much brighter.

For players who love clean white tones, I think this could be a dream hairstyle.

3. Small Details Make All the Difference! Cute Twin Braids

The third image features a twin-braid hairstyle.

There's already a similar hairstyle, but I've always felt that the bangs could use a little work.

For this redesign, I neatened up the shape of the bangs

and gave them a cuter finish, making the overall look so much prettier.

4. Goddess Vibes! Long Wavy Black Hair

The fourth image features an extra-long hairstyle, something that's hard to find in 모비노기 right now.

With its waist-length black hair and soft waves,

this look is all about sophistication and elegance!

Maybe it's because the game doesn't have any hairstyles this long yet,

but I'm excited to imagine how it would look with a dress if it were released—

it would give the character such a goddess-like presence ㅎㅎ

5. A Surprisingly Good Fit! MapleStory Bowmaster Hair

Last up is a 모비노기 character sporting MapleStory's Bowmaster hairstyle.

It fits so naturally that you'd think it had been in the game all along!

Since I'm leveling an archer as my main, I'd love to see plenty more cute tied-up hairstyles :D

A new hairstyle really can bring a character's whole look to life, can't it?
