MapleStory has lined up some seriously, seriously amazing check-in rewards for its 23rd anniversary!!

I've mentioned this before, but here's the deal.

Magnet Pets!! Just for checking in—yes, JUST for checking in!!

And they're giving out a whopping 4 of them!!

You can even use Premium Water of Life to extend one of them and keep it around forever!!

The event runs until June 17... and with 6 weeks still to go,

you can still get 2 Magnet Pets without even using the Parade Pass!!

Maple World comes to Jamsil

Maple Island has just opened at Lotte World in Jamsil!!

All sorts of MapleStory collab events are in the works outside Lotte World, too!!

First up, an Orange Mushroom is coming to Seokchon Lake!!

Apparently, an Orange Mushroom and Slimes will be popping up at Seokchon Lake!

And a Henesys square will be set up right in front of them!

I'll have to snap some photos in the square with all those cute mushrooms summoned there!

It kicks off on May 22, so I'll be sure to head over and enjoy it!

Looking back on MapleStory's major updates

I went back to some of the places packed with memories from my early MapleStory days.

But I hit a snag right away... Victoria Island has had a huge revamp, and a lot of the spots I remember are gone ㅜㅜ

Still, I made it to my second stop! Ant Tunnel!

I used to grind here so much... Back then, even getting to the 2nd job advancement was tough!

It's all coming back to me!

I also took a pretty long break from MapleStory,

then returned when the 5th job advancement arrived—and I've already met the Memory Keeper dozens of times!!

Doesn't it almost look like there's a portal there?

And here's something I ran into over and over while raising characters to level 200 for Legion:

Wrapping up

Coming back to an old game really brings up a whole mix of feelings.

I remember how it felt to get scammed, and all those struggles... but this game still takes me back to who I was in those days.

Just as it's kept going strong over the past 20 years,

I hope we can keep making happy memories together!
