Did you know May 8 is the birthday of Blue Archive’s

Misono Mika?

One of Blue Archive’s biggest charms is getting to interact with the students.

MomoTalk even shows each student’s birthday.

Mika is a character with a really fascinating story.

As a member of Trinity’s Tea Party student council,

she first appears with all the grace of a princess,

but as the story unfolds, she ends up at the heart of a major twist too.

Anyway, Mika’s absolute favorite is

Mille-Feuille’s Traditional Parfait!

So I gave her the parfait I had as a birthday present.

(She looks very happy)

To be fair, her Bond Rank is already 41,

and Mika and I have cleared way more than just one or two Total Assaults together.

Back in December last year, Mika’s alternate version,

Mika (Swimsuit), was released.

Interestingly, Swimsuit Mika’s

favorite gift is a Stylish Hairbrush.

(She looks very happy)

I also caught up on the Bond Stories I’d been saving.

I’d already gone through all of regular Mika’s story, of course,

but it was a good excuse to revisit the Memorial Lobby illustration!

As it happened, the current Total Assault boss is the heavy armor Hovercraft,

so I went and smashed it with Mika’s overwhelming power.

Meanwhile, as a nonprofit fan project,

there’s also a user who started subway ads for Misono Mika’s birthday.

You can apparently spot Mika birthday celebration illustrations

at Gangnam Station in Seoul and Seomyeon Station in Busan, so if you’re passing through, give them a look!

There are a few precautions listed too, so keep them in mind!

At Blue Archive’s offline café, Cafe Memorial,

I’ve heard you can order Mika printed latte art this month.

And beyond that, in China too,

digital billboard ads celebrating Mika’s birthday are currently running,

and there are commemorative ads up in Japan as well.
