I spent mine playing a new game that's gaining momentum on MapleStory Worlds:

‘메이플 플래닛’!

The game only launched on April 24, and the excitement among players was already palpable.

I got swept right up in the nostalgia, too!

My pick for the break, 메이플 플래닛,

is a world that faithfully recreates MapleStory just before the Big Bang update in 2010.

Unlike 메이플랜드, which focuses on the very earliest days,

it includes the Explorer Pirate classes, too—a fun change of pace!

What made it such a great fit for a holiday gaming marathon? The boosted rates!

With EXP and item drop rates increased by 300%, and mesos earned increased by 100%,

I could breeze through levels without worrying about a long grind.

Going Ice/Lightning! Level 30 in Just 2 Hours

This time, I went with Ice/Lightning from the Magician classes. I'd heard it was a popular pick!

Getting from level 8–10 to 20 flew by—all I had to do was follow the quests

from the job instructors and 왕연해, the Beginner Training Ground NPC, one by one.

Then, from level 20 to 30,

I tackled both the Ant Tunnel Sign quests and The Rememberer's quests,

and my progress really took off…!

It took just 2 hours to reach level 30—the leveling speed was incredible,

making this a perfect pick for the long holiday break.

Back to Mushroom Castle! Nostalgia Meets Party Play

After completing my 2nd Job Advancement, I jumped into the pre-revamp Mushroom Castle quests.

It's been quite a while since Mushroom Castle was revamped in the main MapleStory game,

so I'd been wanting to revisit the old quests—and finally had the chance!

The final map was a particular highlight: I could party up with other players

and farm equipment by taking down Yeti and King Pepe.

Coming back after so long brought all those old memories flooding back ㅎㅎ

That made reaching level 40 over the holiday break a real treat!

I'm planning to log back in this weekend, too +_+

A Faithful Recreation & Player-Friendly Features

메이플 플래닛 stays remarkably faithful to the original while delivering a solid range of modern quality-of-life features.

A personalized system for popular hunting spots meant I could hunt without competing for a spot,

and the Auction House made item trading a breeze.

With plenty of well-known streamers playing too, I'm excited about the prospect of even more players joining in.
