[Maple Planet] 2010 nostalgia! A #황금연휴 game to enjoy with explosive growth

Hello,

I’m Jaymer, a Nexon Picker.

I hope everyone had a great time over the recent long holiday.

During the break, I spent a good chunk of it playing one of the newest rising worlds in MapleStory Worlds,

‘Maple Planet’!

Maybe because it just opened on April 24, the player excitement was already incredible.

For me, it was also a chance to really sink into that nostalgia all over again!

2010 nostalgia, faster and more fun with boosted rates!

The version of Maple Planet I played this time is

a world that faithfully recreates Maple before the 2010 Big Bang update.

Unlike MapleLand, which aims for the absolute earliest era,

this one even lets you play the Adventurer Pirate class line, which gave it a fresh kind of appeal.

Early May (7)

One of the biggest reasons it was so great to dive into over the holiday was its high rates.

With EXP and item drop rates increased by 300%, and Meso acquisition increased by 100%,

I could level up at a brisk, satisfying pace without feeling any pressure about progression.

Taking on the game with F/P! Reached level 30 in just 2 hours

Early May (51)

This time, I went with F/P out of the magician classes. I’d heard F/P was especially popular right now.

From around level 8~10 up to 20, all I really had to do was steadily follow

the quests from the job instructor and Beginner Training Center NPC King Yeonhae, and the levels came quickly.

Early May (90)

After that, from level 20 to 30,

I worked through both the Ant Tunnel Sign quest and the The One Who Remembers quest,

and the growth really was explosive…!

It was surprisingly fast too—I reached level 30 in exactly 2 hours,

which made it a perfect fit for the holiday break.

The nostalgic Mushroom Castle! Even the charm of party play

Early May (166)

After completing my second job advancement, I moved on to the pre-revamp Mushroom Castle questline.

It’s been quite a while since Mushroom Castle was revamped in the main game,

so I’d personally wanted to revisit the old questline, and it was great to enjoy it again after so long!

Early May (200)

On the final map especially, I partied up with other players

and farmed equipment by taking down Yeti and King Pepe.

Playing it again after all this time really brought those old memories rushing back ㅎㅎ

Early May (212)

Thanks to that, I was able to hit level 40 over the holiday on a really satisfying note!

I’m planning to log in again this weekend too +_+

High fidelity recreation & player-friendly systems

Early May (60)

Maple Planet stays highly faithful to the original while also offering modern convenience features.

With a personalized system for popular hunting maps, it was easy to grind comfortably without competing for spots,

and the Auction House made item trading extremely convenient too.

Early May (37)

Since plenty of well-known streamers are enjoying it too, I’m really looking forward to seeing even more players join in.

Until August 1, they’re also giving out useful items such as a 30-day pet, Gosundol, and Wheels of Destiny,

so I hope you’ll take this opportunity to experience the charm of a different kind of Maple for yourself.

If you have fond memories of pre-Big Bang MapleStory,

I think it’s absolutely worth logging in and giving it a quick try!

Thanks for reading this post.
