Maple Island Has Arrived at Lotte World—A Complete Rundown, from Attractions to Merch!
제이메르

Hello,
I’m Jmer, a Nexon Picker.

Ever since the news broke that Maple Island at Lotte World officially opened on April 3,
so many players have been buzzing with excitement!
I’ve already seen quite a few people who made the trip. I was hoping to go sometime in April too, but
lining up my schedule turned out to be harder than I expected, so I ended up moving my visit to late May.
Since I have a little longer to wait, I spent some time digging into the information posted on the official website.
What impressed me most was the sheer level of detail—it really feels like Maple’s world has been brought into real life.
The In-Game Feeling, Exactly as You Remember It! Theme Attractions

First up, the thing I’m most excited for has to be the attractions, which really seem to capture MapleStory’s charm so faithfully!
The image above is a photo I took at Seokchon Lake in early April.
Even from a distance, the Maple attractions stood out right away—and they looked seriously fun!
*From this point on, I used images from the official website.

Stone Express
Operating hours - 10:00 ~ 21:50
Ride capacity - 16 people
Guests 110cm and taller may ride, and children 90~110cm may ride when accompanied by a guardian
This roller coaster follows the story of setting off to find Pink Bean by following the Stone Spirit.
It’s not the kind of intense coaster meant to scare you, so it looks like a light, easy ride that all ages can enjoy!
I heard the ride lasts about 1 minute and 30 seconds and goes around twice. The track is fairly short, so that seems to be why it makes an extra lap.
This is the attraction I’m looking forward to the most, personally. The moment I arrive at Maple Island, this is the first one I want to ride!

Eos Tower
Operating hours - 10:00 ~ 21:50
Ride capacity - 12 people
Guests 120cm and taller may ride
There’s also Eos Tower, a drop-style attraction set against the backdrop of Ludibrium’s Eos Tower.
It seems to be a lighter version than Gyro Drop, so it feels like even kids could enjoy it without too much 부담.
Personally, I’m usually pretty nervous about drop rides, but Eos Tower seems like one I could actually work up the courage to try!

Arcana Ride
Operating hours - 10:00 ~ 21:50
Ride capacity - 16 people
Guests 110cm and taller may ride, and children under 110cm may ride when accompanied by a guardian
Arcana Ride really leans into Arcana’s dreamy atmosphere!
It’s a spinning attraction, and while it may look like the kind of ride made for children,
I’ve heard the curve near the end actually has a pretty strong sense of momentum.
Because of that, I think adults could have a lot of fun on it too!
In <Office Worker Hero Kim Seokjin Returns>, BTS Jin and Director Kim Changseop visited Maple Island,
and watching them enjoy(?) Arcana Ride made me even more excited for it.
Especially since I love spinning attractions, I kind of want to ride it two or three times ㅎㅎ

Gyro Spin
Operating hours - 10:00 ~ 21:30
Ride capacity - 40 people
Guests 125cm and taller may ride
This is Gyro Spin, where you whirl around with Pink Bean.
It’s an attraction where a large circular disk spins quickly while racing back and forth along a U-shaped rail.
Pink Bean’s expression keeps changing while it spins, too!
Out of the four attractions, this one looked the scariest to me.
I’m not especially good with rides like Gyro Spin, so I’m still on the fence about whether I’ll actually get on it ㅎㅎ
Perfect Photo Ops Are a Must! Photo Zones & Experience Zones

It’s not just about the rides, either—there are all kinds of events prepared on-site as well.
For example, there’s a Hero Photo Zone on Adventure 1F. A lot of people seem to be taking their commemorative shots there!

Henesys has also been recreated as if it stepped right out of the game.
If you’re a Maple user, this feels like one of those spots where you absolutely have to grab a photo, right?

Also, if you complete the on-site quest being held for a limited time,
you can get a Meso Pouch and claim 1 reward from a variety of options, including an Orange Mushroom plush hat, a speech-bubble headband, and more,
so definitely don’t miss out!

There will also be a Maple Parade (14:00~14:30) and even a 3D Mapping Show (18:30~20:00).
The mapping show, in particular, only runs through Sunday, June 14, so I really recommend visiting within that period!
Food & Limited-Edition Goods

Of course, you can’t leave out the Maple-themed food and limited-edition goods either!
Cute snacks like Orange Mushroom Nutella Cheese Bread and Yeti Choco Mellow Shake Chu are on the lineup,
and among the items recreated straight from actual in-game consumables,
the Red Potion and Blue Potion ades are the ones I most want to try.

There are also limited-edition goods like the Stone Spirit hooded blanket, action ballpoint pens themed after Eos Tower and Blockpus,
and various metal pin badges—more than enough to make Maple users open their wallets ㅎㅎ
There’s a pretty wide selection of goods, so I’d definitely recommend checking the official Maple Island website first!

After putting this post together, I just want to get to Maple Island as soon as possible.
I’m hoping to visit sometime in May and slowly put together a review post afterward too!
If you’re planning a trip to Lotte World, make sure Maple Island is on your list 😆
