Separately, the Maple Attack with LOTTE collaboration event runs until June 14, so if you play MapleStory, I recommend planning your visit during this period.

Here are some useful tips to help you prepare for your visit.

Why You Should Install the App First

Before your visit, start by installing the Lotte World app.

​

Buying tickets on-site could mean waiting in line for 30 minutes or more, while the app lets you quickly find partner offers and book your tickets. Since the recent opening is drawing crowds, I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially in the morning.

After booking, open the Magic Island tab on the app's map to check real-time wait times and make reservations for your chosen attractions, all in one place.

Time can pass more quickly than you expect while you are enjoying the park. Set reminders in the app for key activities, such as the parade show at 14:00 and Pink Bean photo sessions from 12:30–17:30, so you do not miss them.

How to Get to Maple Island

Maple Island is in the outdoor Magic Island area, not the indoor section of Lotte World.

Leave Jamsil Station through Exit 3 or 4, then head from the Lotte World Annual Pass Center to the Adventure Wild Tour Gate.

Maple Island is not a separate, self-contained area; instead, MapleStory theming is woven throughout the existing Magic Island attractions.

Rather than heading straight for the rides when you enter, I recommend walking around first to get a sense of where the photo zones, merchandise shops, gacha machines, and attractions are located.

What to Do While Exploring

On your first walk around, I recommend completing about 2 QR missions.

You will find QR missions throughout the Maple Island area. Completing 2 simple missions takes just 2–3 minutes and earns you a 10% discount coupon for the merchandise shop.

Popular merchandise sells out quickly, so if there is something you really want, it is better to buy it at the start of your visit, even if that means carrying it around.

Recommended Attractions

Arcana Ride

Maple Island has 4 main attractions.

If you are not comfortable with intense rides, start with Arcana Ride and Eos Tower.

​

Arcana Ride is a good choice for families with children, and its quick turns add an unexpected bit of excitement.

Eos Tower

Eos Tower rises and falls repeatedly but is gentle enough that you can chat with the person next to you. As long as you are not afraid of heights, you should find it enjoyable, with views of the surrounding area as you climb. Ride around sunset or at night to take in the nighttime scenery of Seokchon Lake as well.

Stone Express

Stone Express is a low-to-moderate-intensity roller coaster. You may prefer to skip it if you are sensitive to rides, but it has no steep drops or particularly frightening sections, making it well worth a try.

Pink Bean Gyro Spin

Pink Bean Gyro Spin swings back and forth in a crescent-shaped arc like a pirate ship ride, with added spinning. It is best to skip this one if you are prone to motion sickness or are not comfortable with intense rides.

Beyond the rides, be sure to take photos at the photo zones on Adventure's 1st floor, at the Magic Island entrance, and inside Magic Island.

At night, you can also enjoy Magic Castle Lights Up and the atmosphere of Maple Island's illuminated surroundings.
