This post focuses on Maple Island at Lotte World, which is currently open and receiving positive reviews.

Maple Island opened in April and is currently scheduled to remain open until June 14. Here, I’ve gathered some additional information while keeping overlap with my previous post on the subject to a minimum.

Maple Parade Details

“MapleStory joins Lotty's Adventure Parade! Meet the monsters and the stars of Lotte World's signature attractions in a parade through a world of dance and music!”

The Maple Parade starts at 2 p.m. along the parade route on Adventure's 1st floor and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Attraction Information

Stone Express

Themed around Arcana's Rock Spirits, this ride makes 2 laps. It operates from 10:00 to 20:50. Riders must be at least 110cm tall to ride alone; those at least 90cm but under 110cm may ride with a guardian. The ride lasts approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Eos Tower

This attraction is themed around Eos Tower in Ludibrium. According to the director, it is scarier than Stone Express. It operates from 10:00 to 20:50, and riders must be at least 120cm tall. The ride lasts approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Arcana Ride

Themed around Arcana's Spirit Tree, this attraction operates from 10:00 to 20:50. Riders at least 110cm tall may ride alone, while those under 110cm must be accompanied by a guardian. The ride lasts approximately 1 minute and 40 seconds.

When this attraction was first revealed, its simple appearance left many people wondering how much fun it would be. As you can see above, however, it has a surprise in store and has been described as more thrilling than it first appears.

Gyro Spin

Gyro Spin is a Pink Bean-themed attraction said to be the scariest of the 4 rides. It travels along a curved track extending up to 75m, reaching a maximum speed of 70km/h and rising as high as 20m. It operates from 10:00 to 20:40, and riders must be at least 120cm tall. The ride lasts approximately 2 minutes.

Beautiful Scenery

Watching the video reminded me how beautifully the scenery complements the season. Beyond the views, visitors’ reviews highlight the attention to detail, with decorations extending to manhole covers, streetlights, and even drains. If you visit, these details are worth a closer look.

Most of these installations are also faithfully represented in the game.

The giant Orange Mushroom seen in the event map is also set to appear at a May event at Seokchon Lake. A treasure hunt using AR (augmented reality) is planned as well.
