Maple Leaf Playground No. 3 Opens! A project with Nexon’s social contribution efforts to help advance children’s right to play — and a great place to visit on Children’s Day :D
제이메르

Hello,
I’m Jaymer, and I’m active as a Nexon Picker.

Those childhood memories of running around and playing as freely as we wanted are truly precious to all of us!
But when you look at the reality many children in Korea are facing today,
it really becomes clear just how limited their opportunities are to rest and play freely.
According to the statistics, children’s actual playtime falls far below the OECD average,
which means a basic right that should be guaranteed for healthy growth—
children’s right to play—is not being properly protected.

That’s why the public playground remodeling project being carried out by MapleStory right now
feels especially meaningful!
I was genuinely impressed by Nexon’s social contribution efforts to create spaces where children can run around and play with joy.
As a Maple user myself, I decided to visit the site in person :D
Opening News for Maple Leaf Playground No. 3 & Where It’s Located

Maple Leaf Playground No. 3 officially opened on Saturday, April 18, at Seoul Children’s Grand Park!
Following the first location in Seongnam and the second in Uijeongbu,
Seoul has finally gained its own special space for children too.
After checking the park map, I found that it was located near the center.

I was a little worried I might get lost inside the huge Seoul Children’s Grand Park,
but thankfully, with signs posted throughout the park,
it was easy to find my way to Maple Leaf Playground 😆
Photo Zone Featuring MapleStory Characters
As soon as you arrive at the playground entrance, MapleStory’s mascots are there to greet you—
Rock Spirit, Pink Bean, and Orange Mushroom warmly welcome visitors.
Since it’s set up as a photo zone, the area was quite busy with visitors taking pictures!
I even brought my MapleStory World eco-bag with me to fully get into the mood,
and Pink Bean just so happened to be posing with one hand raised high.

I rested my eco-bag with the Pink Bean design on it
lightly on top of Pink Bean’s hand for the photo, and it turned out even cuter ㅎㅎ

The playground itself was impressively spacious.
Another lovely touch was that MapleStory BGM was playing softly throughout the entire Maple Leaf Playground!
The children playing there may not realize it’s Maple BGM,
but as a user, seeing them enjoy themselves in that themed space made me feel proud 🤗
A Perfect Children’s Day Pick to Bring Out That Childhood Wonder!
Maple Leaf Playground No. 3 is divided into four themed zones in total:
Orange Mushroom World, Rock Spirit World, Pink Bean World, and Maple Leaf Rest Area.
In Orange Mushroom World, located behind the photo zone,
I got to see children crossing adorable stepping stones shaped like Orange Mushrooms.

There was also a trampoline off to one side,
and watching the kids bounce around so happily made me feel like I’d stepped back into childhood for a moment.
I even tried it myself when there was a brief opening. It was only for a moment, but it was so much fun! Hehe

As soon as I stepped into Rock Spirit World, it honestly felt like I’d entered a brand-new map in Arcana!
If Arcana had a playground, I imagine it would feel just like this ㅎㅎ

Along with swings, there were so many charming play features here too, including arch crossings and net play equipment.
Just watching children smile brightly while holding a guardian’s hand was enough to make me feel happy.

Next up is Pink Bean World.
The giant Pink Bean perched on top of the structure was incredibly popular with the kids!

True to Pink Bean’s signature color, Pink Bean World
offered a variety of facilities beyond the slide, including ring-passing play features.

After all that energetic play, the Maple Leaf Rest Area
offers space to relax under the shade canopy or enjoy some sand play,
which made me think it’s absolutely perfect for a family outing.

I was also really impressed by Nexon’s ongoing efforts
to keep expanding touchpoints where people can experience game elements in offline spaces like this.
Going beyond simply providing games,
Nexon’s social contribution efforts to create an environment where children can run and play in a healthy way
are something that truly made me feel proud as a user, too.
I hope this kind of positive impact—where online fun leads to offline happiness—
continues to spread even further in the future! 👍
Now that the weather is getting nicer and Children’s Day is just around the corner,
if you’d like to give children the gift of their right to play, why not plan a visit this weekend?
I hope you’ll enjoy a warm and meaningful time with your family in this special space that helps protect children’s right to play.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post as well :)
