Hello!

Nexon Picker 피스타임 here!

What if a game character made their debut as a virtual YouTuber?

Just picturing it sounds like a fun change of pace!

Today, I took a cute NPC from Mabinogi Mobile,

Osla, and gave her a virtual YouTuber debut!

The Clumsy Blacksmith

Osla Gets Ready for Her VTuber Debut

First things first, every VTuber needs an avatar.

Osla's charm is all in that spaced-out expression!

She'll need an avatar that really captures that look.

A VTuber's way of talking and persona are key, too.

‘If it flops, maaaybe that's okay too…’

She's got the right mindset down before she's even debuted.

The Clumsy Weapon Shop

Osla's VTuber Debut!

And with that, virtual Osla's debut stream is here!

Osla's workshop has been faithfully recreated as her studio,

and her stream layout looks pretty good for a first outing!

But true to her clumsy self, her audience interaction could still use some work.

First up on stream: enhancing gear for others!

Equipment can't be destroyed in Mabinogi Mobile,

but somehow, she's managed to break it anyway!

Even spaced-out Osla gets flustered when this happens.

And with that, Osla hastily wraps up her first stream.

She says she'll bring Nao along as a guest next time!

By the way, over on the Japanese server of Blue Archive,

they actually feature in-game characters as virtual YouTubers in videos,

making all sorts of Shorts like these!

Personally, I think VTubers have become a pretty familiar sight in Korea,

and people tend to be more open to game-character VTubers like these,

so it'd be fun to see game companies give this a try for real!
