Let’s get started.

MSW Grand Opening 2nd Anniversary

The Maple Administrator is celebrating the 2nd anniversary of MapleStory’s grand opening, with a variety of events being prepared in Mapleland to mark the occasion.

Defeat certain monsters to collect letters, then combine them to spell specific words. Some letters must be obtained through special methods.

Start with the Maple Administrator’s special quiz, which has 5 questions. The first asks when MapleStory Worlds launched its trial service. The answer is September 1, 2022.

The second question asks when MapleStory Worlds officially launched. The answer is April 25, 2024.

The third question asks who the executive director of MapleStory Worlds is. All the names are familiar, but the correct answer is Director Shin Min-seok. Not Director Kim Chang-seop.

The fourth question asks which world is not available to play on the MSW platform. The answer is Blue Archive.

The fifth and final question asks who publishes MSW. The answer is Toben Studio.

Once you’ve answered all the questions, you can claim the Special Letter M.

Next, visit Cassandra. When she asks why you’ve come, your character explains that they heard she has a special letter.

Cassandra offers you the Special Letter S in exchange for items dropped by monsters you defeat.

To complete the quest, bring her 50 Orange Mushroom Caps and 40 Squishy Liquids to receive the Special Letter S.

I hunted Orange Mushrooms at Mushroom Garden, a Hidden Street hunting area in Henesys West Hill, until I had collected all the caps I needed.

For Slimes, I hunted at Ellinia North Field, a popular spot for finding them.

You can get the last special letter for free from Rowen the Fairy.
