If the items that left the strongest impression on me actually existed in real life... #AI #실사화

Hello
This time, the keyword is live-action adaptation, so I wanted to write about the in-game elements I’d personally like to see rendered as if they existed in real life. With that in mind, I asked Gemini AI to turn some MapleStory items that have stayed in my memory into actual photographs
Flame Box

The Flame Alphabet Box was one of the early items that set the tone for boosted hunting reward events, and it consistently held a price in the hundreds of millions

Rare Items

To start with, this I’m a Lucky Guy★ medal was obtainable as a prize reward from a past Hot Time event, and the slightly peculiar name is what stayed with me most

I remembered the medal’s name, but not the event details very clearly, so I looked it up and found that it was actually given out as a reward for the 9th anniversary event

Next, this The Seed First Challenger medal is not really something that can be called rare in the strictest sense, because it’s an item that does not exist in the game at all right now. As the description shows, when The Seed was first updated, it was meant to be awarded within a set period to the first user who “died” to Dorothy, but because no user reached the underwater 50th floor during that period, it was apparently never seen in-game

Compared to the always-obtainable Dorothy Challenger, this one definitely seems to have been designed a bit more elaborately

Alongside that, Alicia’s Radiance is another unfortunate item that exists in the data but never made it into the game. I thought it would look great if it were ever properly realized, so I asked for that one too
The Sandwich Muto Eats

This is the sandwich Muto eats at the end of Chuchu Island’s main quest. I asked for the bones to be removed from the meat, and added the ham on my own. The blue color is a little unsettling, but it still looks fairly appetizing
Two Classic Throwing Stars

These days, throwing stars themselves do not carry quite the same weight they used to, but I still think they’re very well-designed items. The way their names were built around Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday left a strong impression on me
The Modest Little Lottery, Suspicious Herb Pouch

Since the 12 weekly boss limit was introduced, I naturally run into it less often, but when I happen to come across a Suspicious Herb Pouch while doing Normal Root Abyss for mileage, it still feels nice to see

Of the possible items it can give, Juniper Berry Seed Oil, which is used as a material for Wealth Acquisition Potion, is probably the top prize. Since it can drop in a random amount from 1 to 30, getting 30 makes for a surprisingly solid reward, to the point of exceeding the price of Hard Verus Hilla’s Intense Power Crystal
Primal Essence

Primal Essence is a material item used in crafting things like the Dominator Pendant and Meister Ring. It used to be expensive enough to count as a fairly notable lucky drop, but now it sits at around 100,000 mesos, making it similar in price to Core Gemstones

In the past, it could only be obtained from the Trembling Heart and Golden Flower Pile that spawned in the field, and from Arkarium, but after the boss reward drop rework made it available from boss monsters as well, the price fell sharply. Looking it up, it seems that even in 2024 it was still worth around 10 million mesos

Now, the gap between its very low price and its grand item description makes it feel a little funny, but if you look at the description and appearance alone, I still think it’s a very cool item
Thank you for reading
