Sometimes I catch myself imagining what it would be like if game characters actually existed in the real world!

And with cute, charming games like MapleStory, that curiosity gets even stronger.

So today, with the help of AI, I took

five Maple characters I’ve always pictured in my head and re-created them in a live-action concept. 😊

1. Cygnus

When I think of Cygnus, the very first thing that comes to mind is that truly untouchable elegance.

For the live-action version, I wanted to capture Cygnus’s signature mysterious aura along with her imperial, noble beauty!

For the overall visual, I leaned into a bright yet dignified mood to match one of the most dazzling and beautiful characters in the Maple World.

I’m honestly really happy with it because it feels so close to the exact image I had in mind!

The texture of the blue fabric softly fluttering in the wind, especially,

really feels like a detail that captures Ereve’s clear air and peaceful atmosphere.

2. Eunwol

Next up is Eunwol, one of my personal favorite illustrations!

True to his role as a forgotten hero,

I really wanted to bring his uniquely lonely yet intense vibe into a live-action look.

After generating it myself, that cold, dark aura came through incredibly well.

What I especially loved was how his sharp gaze, mixed with that deep sense of sorrow, really came to life :)

If this ever really became live-action, I think it would be perfect with an actor who can give off a quiet, solitary presence,

while still telling an entire story through nothing but their eyes.

3. Lucid

Third is Lucid, the ruler of the dream city, Lachelein.

I put just as much care into this one as I did with Cygnus!

I really wanted to capture Lucid’s signature deadly yet mysterious aura in a live-action visual,

and honestly, it turned out even better than I expected 😆

The standout point is, of course, Lucid’s iconic pink bob haircut and cute mini top hat.

Once that was paired with a black corset dress full of fine detail,

her uniquely alluring charm came through even more strongly!

And those vivid purple butterflies spreading out from her fingertips

really feel like the key effect that shows Lucid’s dream-manipulating powers in such an intuitive way.

If this were ever cast in live-action, I think an actress with cat-like eyes

would be a perfect fit, especially performing under glamorous lighting!

4. Maple Administrator NPC

From this character on, I tried shifting into a more realistic style—something that feels like they could actually exist around us!

The Maple Administrator is all about a smart, trustworthy visual.

With the neatly tailored white uniform and skirt, plus the signature hat marked with the W logo,

it really gives off the vibe of an impressively capable administrator.

And the smile makes the whole look feel even more approachable!

5. Toben Hair Warrior

Last but not least, it’s the Toben Hair Warrior!

I think it really nailed the feeling of the kind of hero we all naturally picture.

He’s dressed in a simple white T-shirt and denim shorts.

More than anything, the key feature here—his rugged Toben hair style—was reinterpreted in a really grounded, realistic way!

If Toben Hair Warrior were adapted into live-action,

I can totally imagine him showing up as a growth-type protagonist who never gives up until the very end.

So that’s a look at five MapleStory characters reimagined through a live-action concept today.

It felt really fresh seeing visuals I’d only ever imagined before brought to life in a more realistic style.
