Have you ever had an item you desperately, desperately wanted while spending time in Erinn?

You sink so much time and effort into getting it, and then still don’t get it in the end,

or you finally get it at the very, very end and somehow just feel empty after all that

That’s happened to me a lot too😢

So today, I thought I’d talk about those moments a bit

Ready to relate, everyone? Let’s start~

1 Weapon Rune ‘Sword Dance+’

This is ‘Sword Dance+,’ a weapon rune that’s rated really highly by most classes

It gets used all the time across all kinds of combat content,

so basically every adventurer who wants a perfect gear setup ends up chasing this rune

To get it, I ran Abyss and farmed ‘Abyssal Magic Stones,’

then took them to Molly and traded them for weapon pots, hoping to pull Sword Dance,

or I gathered Mystic Dice and keys and opened them one by one praying Sword Dance would show up,

or I tried hoping for a natural drop through hunting grounds or dungeon rewards…

and in the end, I still didn’t get it until I’d collected every single weapon rune except Sword Dance😭

When other adventurers around me were using weapons with the Sword Dance rune slotted in, I was just over there suffering in silence

I only got Sword Dance+ at the very end by using an Unknown Weapon Rune

At least the one saving grace was,

I got another commonly used weapon rune, Lucky+, fairly early,

so I was able to use that in place of Sword Dance pretty well

Still... finally getting the rune everyone says is the best only after all that time,

yeah, I can’t help tearing up a little over just how nonexistent my luck was💦

2 Highly Enhanced Weapon

A highly enhanced weapon is every adventurer’s dream, right?

But the farther you go, the lower the enhancement success rate gets,

and the rune fragments and gold you need just keep piling up…

So you can’t even try that often, and even when you do, seeing that success screen is seriously not easy!

And on top of that, I recently realized how important sub-class weapon enhancement is too,

so now it’s harder to pour absolutely everything into just my main weapon

Will I really be able to hit the next enhancement stage quickly

without having to fill up 100 enhancement points first?

3 Epic Fashion ‘Solid Ember’ Set

There’s an Epic Fashion set called ‘Silent Judgment: Solid Ember Set’ that came out on April 24 last year

The second I saw it, I was like omg... this is mine!,

so I used the Premium Fashion Tickets I’d been saving up and went for the full set,

but in the end, I couldn’t complete it before that gacha period passed by😭

At the time, I definitely thought the outfit was my style,

but I’d already used up a decent number of tickets on the previous gacha, so I couldn’t roll that much

And besides, what if the next gacha had an outfit I liked even more?

That was my thinking, so I only rolled a little and decided to wait for a rerun

And now, I deeply regret the choice I made that day😇

Even though we’ve already hit the 1st anniversary, there’s still no news about the Solid Ember Set coming back…

I really should’ve finished the full set back then! ㅠㅠ

4 Norwegian Forest Cat

This one’s about a pet gacha story that’s still ongoing for me right now

I really, really love cats,

and the Epic Norwegian Forest pet you can get from this gacha has really good stats too,

so I got tempted and I’m trying for it right now

But honestly, there’s another pet I’ve been waiting for too

Back in the original Mabinogi, there are animal characters called Herb Pig and Clover Pig,

and I’m kind of hoping they might show up as pig pets in Mabinogi Mobile

According to a notice that was posted before, pig pets are definitely planned

But there’s no way to know when they’ll come out, or whether their stats will even match my class

For the sake of some uncertain future pig,

should I pass on the cat pet that’s out right now?

Or should I just go eh, whatever~ and roll the gacha first?

I guess it’s just hard to get everything you want right away every time
