Having fun and making the most of life in Erinn?

As I've made my way through the quests in Mabinogi Mobile,

I've met so many characters and had all kinds of experiences.

Sometimes they've caught me completely off guard—“Wait, that reaction?! That face?!”

Other times, they've had me bursting out laughing.

The more vivid and varied a character's expressions are,

the more alive they feel, and the easier it is to get swept up in the story.

I've picked out a few of the most expressive characters I've met

while playing Mabinogi Mobile, so let's take a look together!

1 We can't leave out the star of the story: the adventurer

First up is the character we all play, the adventurer!

You can show how you're feeling with all sorts of expressions,

and they're handy when chatting with other people, too.

During quests, including the main story, and in event cutscenes,

you get to see their range of expressions and think, “Oh, so that's how they react~”

When you're used to that neutral face they have while standing idle,

seeing their feelings come through in all these different expressions

can be surprisingly touching🥰

2 The Giant warrior, 아란셸드

It's 아란셸드, the brave Giant we met during the main quests!

He's such a cool warrior, as thoughtful and serious as he is big-hearted and boisterous~

I thought we'd only ever see him letting out a big, hearty laugh like this,

or getting serious in battle.

But then he saw an unexpected side of the adventurer…ㅋㅋ

I remember cracking up at the look of utter shock on his face!

He's more open about his feelings than I'd expected,

and he has the range of expressions to match.

I have a feeling he'll turn up in the main story again someday,

and I hope we get to see plenty more of those expressions and different sides of him then~

3 아드윈, who seemed to have ice in his veins

Then there's 아드윈, the “noble among nobles” we met during the Emain Macha story!

From his first appearance right through to the end of the main story, his expression barely changed,

and he rarely let his feelings show. He seemed so stony and unreadable.

But in this latest side story,

I got a brief glimpse into this older fellow's past.

Was he smiling or crying…

Was he hurting, or just the opposite…

His expression held so many emotions that I couldn't quite put it into words,

and I was so stunned that I couldn't take my eyes off the scene😲💥

That look on his face—after keeping everything hidden,

he finally breaks down and lets it all burst out!

I was amazed. Who knew a game character's expression could be this subtle…!

That's what was going through my head as I kept hitting the screenshot button💦

What do you think, adventurer?

Of all the people you've met on your travels through Erinn,

who deserves the award for most expressive character?

They've all shown us so many different expressions that I can't pick just one~

But if we're talking least expressive, I know exactly who I'd pick!

It's… Cichol!😂

What kind of face is he making under that hood, anyway?

Does he even have a face?

Does his expression match what he's saying,

or is it something we'd never imagine? I'd really love to know.

Not being able to see his face makes you pay more attention to the voice acting,

and it's fun trying to guess how he's feeling from his tone of voice.
