MapleStory has its go-to eyes (face styles) for male and female characters. Whenever I play a male character, I always pick 멍눈, and for female characters, I go with 조용한 눈.

Some eyes are popular on both male and female characters, including the master of expressions, “아잉 눈”. Those adorable little eyes have big reactions and quite the range of expressions. Take a look and see for yourself(?)!

1) Default Expression

Simple is best. Let's start by admiring the default 아잉눈 expression. With those raised eyebrows and upturned corners of the mouth, just looking at it puts you in a good mood.

2) Smiling Expression

You could call this the signature 아잉눈 expression! It's so cheerful that I find myself smiling along every time I see it. You'll spot this one a lot in Henesys.

3) Crying Expression

You'll see this expression a lot during Shining Star Force and Miracle Cube Time events. 😏 Even the crying face is pretty cute in its own way. If you spot someone crying in town without saying anything in chat, they're sharing their sorrows in guild or buddy chat.

4) Glaring Expression

Perfect for messing around with friends or showing your annoyance at their humblebragging. That blank, white-eyed stare always makes me laugh.

5) Ugh Expression

This is the face to make when a friend says something gross or tells a story that makes you go, “Ugh...” I've been dealing with gastritis lately, so this has pretty much been my expression in real life.
