I’m sure plenty of you have at least one memory of sitting down with your family and playing games together, right?

Back in elementary school, as soon as classes were over, my older sister and I would rush to the computer

and spend exactly one hour every day playing Crazy Arcade.

One of the best things about Crazy Arcade is that it supports 2P play on a single keyboard,

which makes it a perfect family game to enjoy side by side with siblings or even your parents.

So after a long time away, I went back through these nostalgic maps and took a little trip to my childhood!

A Tour of Nostalgic Maps That Still Feel Great Today

When I logged in again after such a long time, the maps my sister and I used to laugh our way through were still there!

And it wasn’t just nostalgia talking—there were plenty of maps that still felt genuinely fun even now.

First up, the Kkomuli Map really stands out for its signature sense of speed.

At first, it feels like the Kkomuli appear pretty slowly,

but as time goes on, the spawn rate ramps up to a terrifying pace.

By the later stages, you have to stay incredibly focused just to deal with the Kkomuli filling the whole screen,

and honestly, that kind of edge-of-your-seat tension is where Crazy Arcade really shines ㅎㅎ

Bunny Farm feels a bit like whack-a-mole, with rabbits popping up all over the map for you to catch with water balloons.

You have to keep chasing those cute little rabbits nonstop,

and it’s also a fun map for making a friendly competition out of who can catch the most with your family!

Cart Map lets you enjoy the thrill of hopping into a cart and racing around the track.

It’s not just about driving fast, either—you can also place water balloons around the course

to block or disrupt your opponent’s route.

Bulla Map is a territory-capture style map where teams compete to fill more tiles in their team’s color!

To paint tiles efficiently, planning your route really matters.

It was one of my favorite modes as a kid, and even now it was still such a blast!

Monster Mode was a lot of fun too! Since it had been so long, even the lower difficulty felt pretty challenging.

After several tries, finally taking down the boss felt incredibly satisfying!

Depending on the festival rank chart and your mission progress, you can earn generous rewards, so it’s definitely worth checking out.

If you have a great idea, you can even create your own festival map and join in directly,

and if your map places in the rankings, you can receive Nexon Cash too.

I also tried some of the maps made by other users,

and there were definitely a lot of stages that really showed off some impressive creativity.

One map that especially stuck with me was 'Blood Pressure Marathon'.

True to its name, obstacles were packed tightly all over the map, and getting through them was seriously difficult…

I struggled with it for quite a while, but in the end I still couldn’t make it past the obstacles and had to leave the room,

and honestly, I think that’s part of the charm of this festival—getting to experience unique maps like these 😆

Why I Recommend Crazy Arcade as a Family Game

There’s a reason I think of Crazy Arcade as a #family game.

First of all, the controls are incredibly simple—mostly just the arrow keys and the spacebar—so

even parents who aren’t used to games can jump in and enjoy it together right away!

Most of all, 2P mode lets you play together on the same screen and really interact with each other, which I think is wonderful.

Especially in Monster & Cooperative Battle Mode,

you can work together and save family members from water balloons when they’re in danger.

When I logged in again after such a long time, the Cr& bond I had with my sister was still there too!

It’s already been 5,960 days since we formed our Cr& bond—that’s almost 16 years now..!

More than fierce competition, Crazy Arcade is a game where you can laugh together and share memories!
