a big fan of Nexon games!

Somehow, I'm already in my 3rd year of living on my own. When my family gets together, we sometimes end up reminiscing about the old days. I played loads of games with my younger siblings growing up, so I've got plenty of gaming memories!

One game that comes up now and then is Crazy Arcade—it was such a huge part of my elementary school days. Talking about it made me want to play again after all this time. Plus, I was curious to see how much had changed! So I jumped back into Crazy Arcade with my good friend 제이메르!

Jumping back into Crazy Arcade!

The moment I logged in, that familiar BGM was there to welcome me back. Seeing my buddies Bazzi and Dao front and center in the lobby brought all those memories flooding back.

제이메르 and I are both pretty shy around new people, so we kept it to just the two of us. I went to pick a character, and wow, they'd added so many! Back in my day, 럭마 was the OG pick. I wonder if that's still the case.

Oh, and my character's level is so low because I couldn't find my old account. Sniff

Classic maps are a blast!

We kicked things off with a classic map. This one's more about moving fast to claim boxes than battling each other with water balloons, so even family members who've never played Crazy Arcade should pick it up in no time.

If you're new to Crazy Arcade, this map seems like a great place to sharpen those reflexes.

We also revisited another classic, the car racing map. I was really good at this one as a kid, so I went in feeling confident... and lost to 제이메르 5 rounds in a row. How does that even happen..

Grabbing a car first is the key to winning on the car racing map, but I was too slow 5 rounds in a row and it all went downhill. Oh, actually, I did grab one first in one round, but then I accidentally got hit by a water balloon and blew it. I got stubborn and kept playing, only to come away with a bruised ego. 😏😏

What better way to heal those wounds than a team map, right?! We played Monster Mode for the first time in ages. Taking on a map meant for 4 players with just the two of us was definitely a bit of a struggle. Still, we had enough experience under our belts to get through it pretty smoothly.

It's a map the whole family can really get into, so if you have 2 or more computers at home, getting four of you together for a game could be fun.

My first look at creator maps!

Crazy Arcade has added so many new maps over the years! The ones that caught my eye were the creator maps. It looks like players make these themselves, and they're really well put together. I had a blast playing them!

The secret behind random characters!

Did you guys know there's a fun Easter egg in Crazy Arcade? Pick the question mark when choosing your character, and there's a small chance you'll get a hidden character.

After about 20 rounds, I got the hidden character Santa. Hidden characters have strong base stats, so they make matches a little easier. There's one more hidden character besides Santa, but I'll leave that one for you to try your luck with while playing with your family! 🤠

Playing Crazy Arcade again after so long brought back so many memories. It also really hit me how much time had passed, and I got a little emotional.
