A guy who’s seriously into games — how I do #연속 플레이
재파민

Hello to all my fellow Nexon game lovers,
I’m Gejinnam Jaepamin.

I’m a total power-J planner type. On weekdays, I get off work and hop straight into games, and on weekends I’m editing YouTube videos and working on my blog, so yeah... 24 hours is never enough. To make this packed schedule a little more efficient, I usually do back-to-back + multi-play.
I think back-to-back play and multi-play basically mean the same thing anyway. So today I’m gonna casually share how I actually play like this in my day-to-day life. Let’s go!
MapleStory grinding + Mabinogi Mobile auto-hunting

The first setup is when MapleStory is my main game. When I’m grinding or bossing in Maple, I keep Mabinogi Mobile open next to it and burn through Silver Coins.
These days, thanks to the Lucid event, I can do click-clack grinding with just 2–3 buttons, so I can keep Mabinogi Mobile going at the same time too.
I always keep that other screen on, though, just in case I end up causing trouble while running a MobiNogi dungeon.
Mabinogi Mobile Abyss/Boss + MapleStory AFK

The second setup is the exact opposite. When I’m running Abyss/deep delve/bosses in Mabinogi Mobile, I leave MapleStory on AFK. I’m not just leaving it idle doing nothing, though—I keep VIP Sauna or MVP Resort running.
That way I can build up my Mabinogi character and my Maple kid at the same time, so it’s basically killing two birds with one stone.
Pro tips for back-to-back play

As you probably already know, running two games at once isn’t exactly easy. Even I just stick to one game on days when I’m not feeling great.
Aside from days like that, if you want to really enjoy back-to-back play, you need to set a goal. In my case, I’m working on raising sub-characters in MapleStory, and in Mabinogi Mobile I’m grinding hard to hit 6.5 combat power.
This time, a pet with Critical Hit + Smash enhancement stats dropped in MobiNogi, so I pulled it right away, and the performance is seriously so good that it made me way more excited to play. Now I really want to hit max level ASAP.

MapleStory also has a voucher event going on right now, so I used a Lavender Skin Coupon on one of my sub-characters. Once your character gets cuter, it really does make you want to level them more, right?! I’m setting my sights broadly on Liberation and planning to really grind on leveling and item setup.
Just like how we work with the goal of earning money, you need a goal if you want back-to-back play to work. If you’re someone who wants to use your time more efficiently like I do, feel free to use this as a reference.
