When people talk about Korea’s classic MMORPGs, a few titles always come up.

Baram is definitely one of them, and now that it’s celebrating its 30th anniversary this year,

it’s packed with generous events.

I don’t personally have nostalgic memories of the original Baram,

but I had a great time playing Baram Classic last year.

Today, I’ve rounded up the Baram 30th Anniversary events

running from April 2 to May 13.

30th Anniversary Level-Up

Baram Point Challenge

First up is the Baram Point Challenge.

With a newly created character made during the event period, you can complete the growth missions for each stage

and earn up to 300,000 Baram Point vouchers per player.

The first 10,000 players to reach level 750 will receive 100,000 points,

and the first 10,000 players to reach level 800 + 8th advancement will receive 200,000 points.

If you pair it with the Hyper Growth Event and the Barini Narsha Event I’ll cover below,

you can level up even faster, so don’t miss it!

New Class

Heukhwarang Release Event

Click Participate on the event page,

and if you reach level 750 with the new class Heukhwarang, you’ll be entered into a draw

for a chance to win a Baram 30th Anniversary Hwattoo Set, with 50 winners selected.

It’s a special hwattoo set featuring cute Baram pixel art!

Taking this on alongside the Baram Point Challenge is a nice two-for-one.

Corrosion Restoration Event

A Corrosion Restoration Hammer is being distributed as a 30th anniversary limited reward.

You can get it by clicking the Corrosion Restoration Event button,

and if you have corroded equipment in your inventory,

using the Corrosion Restoration Hammer lets you choose equipment that can be restored.

Jangdolbaengi Name Market

This event runs from April 2 to April 29.

The Jangdolbaengi Name Market will be held over four weeks,

with a different selection of names going on sale each week.

Only characters level 99 or higher and customers with a Safe security rating can take part,

and you can exchange currency for name slips to place bids.

If you’ve been after a rare nickname, this is your chance!

Rewards Just for Creating a Character?

Great Fortune Event

Create a character and set it as your representative character,

and you can check your fortune once a day.

If you roll Great Luck, you’ll have a chance to receive a Squirrel Good-Luck Charm Doll

(100 winners by drawing).

Level Up Fast!

Growth Event

There are also plenty of events here to help with growth.

Barini Narsha is open to characters level 800 and below,

and when you register, you’ll receive a title and a Bomu Necklace (30 days).

Up to level 800, you get 1+1 level-ups, and at certain level milestones,

you can open reward boxes.

Also, characters from level 600 to 899 can register for Aesthetics of Flow

to claim an EXP-boosting potion once per day.

Hyper Growth Event is also available for new and returning users,

letting them earn various rewards and grow even faster.

The 30th Anniversary Attendance Event is another one you won’t want to miss.

Just by checking in, you can get a commemorative logo box, a pure gold chamber pot,

an additional entry ticket for Fantasy Trials, a Baram Essence Stone Box,

and plenty of other rewards.

On top of that, simply playing the game builds up Adventure Points,

which you can use to purchase various items.
