April 2026 Update on Nexon Games #테라리움 #생일
네오필

In the span of a single month, Nexon’s flagship games all found themselves celebrating birthdays.
From a new title that has only just made it past its first year to a game whose servers were already running when I was in elementary school.
There is something quietly fascinating about seeing such different lengths of time coexist under the same company.
So I thought I’d put together a light roundup of the latest updates. I also turned each game into a terrarium.
Mabinogi Mobile 1st Anniversary

Mabinogi Mobile marked its 1st anniversary with a major update and a full Anniversary Festival.
This update added the main story “Advent of the Goddess Chapter 4 Side Story: Pale Echoes,” the new Deep Dungeon “Barri 2nd District,” and expanded difficulty for the raid “White Succubus” and field boss “Krama”.
Growth and customization also received a sizable boost, with the “Mastery Link System,” which helps train new classes by linking weapon mastery from existing classes, plus six new 8-star Legendary Runes, pet outfit dyeing, and an AR photo mode.
The new server Molly opened alongside it, which makes this a fairly good time for brand-new players to jump in.
Through the Molly Burning Challenge, players can earn plenty of settlement support items, including an 8-star Legendary Rune Box and enhancement tickets.

I logged back in for the first time in a while on a character I’d been raising, and it was easy to see the game continuing to strengthen the features that truly set it apart, like the Private Theater.
Seeing my character cycle through different expressions while taking 1st anniversary four-cut photos, I really felt that its signature atmosphere is becoming more distinctive by the day.

DNF Mobile 4th Anniversary

DNF Mobile celebrated its 4th anniversary with the Sirocco Raid update, and to help both new and returning players get involved, it is also offering the Next Highway (Jumping) event and support for near-endgame setups.
There is also more on the way, with the mid-April update set to add the new male Fighter characters (Striker, Brawler) and a Ranma 1/2 collaboration, which has only added to the anticipation.

MapleStory 23rd Anniversary

MapleStory is marking its 23rd anniversary with a major offline event on April 29 that will reserve Seoul Jamsil Lotte World Adventure for the entire day.
It runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and includes the “Maple Island” attraction, which officially opened on the 3rd, the ongoing season festival “MapleStory in Lotte World”, and special events exclusive to the full-day private booking.
Popular Maple creators are also set to appear on-site as one-day staff members.

Tickets will be released in stages.
The first round opens on April 20 for users whose representative character is level 280 or higher, while the second round opens on April 24 for users who are level 260 or higher but below 280.
Even if you do not meet the level requirement, you can still apply for the invitation event by April 15 and enter a draw for tickets if you have fulfilled one of nine conditions, such as “daily attendance for the past year” or “owning a character created in 2003.” If that sounds like you, it is well worth checking before the window closes.
For a game that has been running this long, it is impressive to see how well it still looks after longtime players. In-game, the 23rd Anniversary Change Burning event is also underway, so logging in online is another good way to join the celebration.

The Kingdom of the Winds 30th Anniversary

First launched in 1996, The Kingdom of the Winds is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with a major update.
At the center of this update is the new class “Black Hwarang”, a distinctive concept built around wielding both the martial arts of Silla’s Hwarang and the power of Mago. Its combat style freely shifts between close-range and long-range fighting through sword dance and magical archery, and it also has its own unique mechanic that sustains combat by gathering the energy of the red moon.
Alongside that, the addition of 9th advancement for all classes, a maximum level expansion to 949, the new raids “Hakan” and “Vritra,” and the 8-player cooperative content “Gwaeryeongnansin” has significantly increased the overall volume of content.

If you log back in after a long break, the amount of change may feel a little overwhelming. But if you want, you can still enjoy Baram Classic through MapleStory Worlds, or try the current version of The Kingdom of the Winds for yourself and see how it has evolved around a more modern player style focused on quick, accessible fun.
It is still a little surprising, in the best way, to see a game of this age delivering updates on this scale.

Closing Thoughts

That wraps up this roundup of Nexon games celebrating birthday season in April 2026. While a game in its first year is still refining a style of its own, a game in its thirtieth year is still rolling out brand-new classes.
Looking back on it, it is remarkable all over again that even games from the same company have each built up their own sense of time in such different ways. If one of these titles caught your eye, this anniversary update might be a good excuse to log back in.
