Have you all heard the term plogging? It’s an eco-friendly workout where you pick up trash while jogging. You get some exercise, clean up litter, and help make the streets look nicer too—pretty much two birds with one stone!

Mabinogi Mobile has a similar type of content called Life. As you move around the map, you can explore, fight monsters, mine ore, and enjoy the game in all kinds of ways.

I put together a few tips for especially efficient auto-gathering, so I hope plenty of you find this useful. Let’s jump right in!

Getting Ready!

For smoother(?) plogging activities, I switched up my outfit. Changing into the Active Farmer Clothes somehow makes it feel like auto-gathering will go better!

Auto-Gathering Tip

Auto-gathering is simple. Go to Inventory > Items and search for “Golden”. That will bring up the Golden materials.

Click one of the materials, then press “How to Obtain,” and you can keep running Life content almost endlessly. Not truly forever, of course, but since it’s a hard-to-get item, you can auto-gather for more than 3 hours.

You’ll be roaming all over the map doing Life content, just like plogging. One extra quick tip: go to the area where the item you want appears first, then turn on auto-gathering.

If you start farming Golden materials just anywhere, you might end up gathering nothing but materials you don’t actually want.

Helpful Tips to Know

If your Life level is low or you don’t have Golden materials, go to Crafting > Items > Transcendent Engraving > Rune Binding Knot, set it to 10 times, then press “Core of Change”.

After that, press “How to Obtain” and do whichever Life activity you want. This method is also pretty close to infinite, so lots of players use it.

Bug catching, woodcutting, fishing, herb gathering, sheep shearing—just about every Life activity you might need is there. If your level is low early on, this is a nice way to level up.

One more bonus tip: it’s a good idea to equip a “Swordsman Weapon”. In Mabinogi Mobile, the Swordsman weapon (greatsword) has the fastest movement speed of all the weapons. If you want to get through Life content even a little faster, keep that in mind!
