Ever heard of plogging? It's an eco-friendly workout where you pick up litter while jogging. You get some exercise and keep the streets clean at the same time—a total two-for-one!

Mabinogi Mobile has something a bit like plogging: life activities. You can roam the map, explore, fight monsters, and mine ore as you play.

I've put together a guide to a particularly efficient way to auto-gather. Hopefully it'll come in handy for lots of you, so let's get started!

Get Your Outfit Ready!

I switched up my outfit for a smooth(?) plogging session. Somehow, wearing a farmer's outfit that's easy to move in makes me feel like my auto-gathering will work even better!

Auto-Gathering Tips

Auto-gathering is easy to set up. Go to Inventory > Items and search for “Golden”. That'll bring up the golden materials.

Click a material, then select “How to Obtain” to keep your life activities going forever. Well, not actually forever, but since these items are hard to get, you can auto-gather for over 3 hours.

You'll roam the map doing life activities, just like you're out plogging. Here's a quick extra tip: head to an area with the items you want before turning on auto-gathering.

If you start farming golden materials just anywhere, you might end up gathering nothing but materials you don't want.

A Handy Trick to Know

If your life skill level is low or you don't have any golden materials, go to Crafting > Items > Transcendent Engraving > Rune-Binding Knot, set the quantity to 10, then click “Core of Change”.

Then click “How to Obtain” and pick whichever life activity you want to do. This method also lets you keep going practically forever, so plenty of players use it.

Bug catching, logging, fishing, herb gathering, sheep shearing—pretty much any life activity you need is covered. If you're still at a low level early on, this is a handy way to level up.

One more tip: equip a “Swordsman weapon”. Out of all the weapons in Mabinogi Mobile, Swordsman weapons (longswords) give you the fastest movement speed. Keep that in mind if you want to get through your life activities even a little faster!
