How to enjoy Mabinogi Mobile’s new content, the Private Theater!
재파민

Hello to all my fellow Nexon game fans,
this is Jaepamin!

마비노기 모바일 just got a new piece of content this time. It’s called ‘Private Theater’, and it’s basically a feature where you can kick back with friends and watch fun videos together.
I’d only ever watched stuff through Discord screen sharing before, so when I heard you could do it in-game, I thought it was really cool and tried it right away. If you’re not sure how it works, just use this post as a guide and let’s go.
Prerequisite Quest

To get the Private Theater item, you’ll need to clear a prerequisite quest first. Head to the big tree next to the campfire in Tir Chonaill Plaza, where you’ll find NPC Mera. Let’s start by going to her.

Once you get there, a pretty female character, Mera, will be waiting with a drone. Talk to her and accept the ‘Cozy Theater, Private Theater’ quest. It takes less than a minute to finish.

If Mera doesn’t appear, check whether you have ‘How to Take Great Photos’ in your inventory. After using that item, you need to complete ‘A Photo of Wolf Rock Taken by Someone’ before Mera will show up.

Once you finish all the quests, you’ll get the Private Theater. Use it, and you can access your own private movie theater. A theater where players can watch together... in 20 years of gaming, I’ve never heard of anything like that before. So naturally, I was pretty excited!

Inside the theater, you can invite players you’re close with, or switch it to a public room so other people can drop by. I invited Imere, who’s both a guildmate and a fellow blogger!

If you click the film reel in the theater, you can enter a YouTube video link. Hit confirm after that, and the video will start playing in high quality like this. I was impressed by how smoothly it played without any interruptions. I like One Piece, so I watched it together with Imere.
You can sit in the seats and watch just like in a real movie theater, and the interior is decorated so nicely that it feels really immersive. I’m planning to try it with my guildmates next, too.

If you’ve been burning through silver coins or feeling tired after raids, taking a break by setting up a movie theater with Private Theater honestly seems like a pretty nice option. Thanks for reading!
