With the April 2 update,

Mabinogi Mobile added a special space where you can enjoy videos together with other players.

It’s the 'Private Theater'!

Getting to watch YouTube videos with friends right inside the game feels pretty exciting.

So today, I’m sharing my thoughts after trying it out for myself :D

How to Use Private Theater (beta)

First, talk to NPC Mera and complete the 'Cozy Theater, Private Theater' side quest!

Mera is standing in front of the giant tree near the campfire in Tir Chonaill.

If she doesn’t appear,

you may have previously accepted the 'Wolf Rock Photo' side quest and still have it in progress.

If you can’t find the 'Wolf Rock Photo' side quest,

please check whether you have the 'How to Take Great Photos' item in [Bag - Items - Quest].

After clearing the quest, use the 'Private Theater' item in the 'Tools' tab of your Bag to create a party.

Once the party has been created, you can invite party members to watch videos together through the party info window!

Only the party leader can control the projector.

After interacting with the projector and entering a YouTube URL, everyone in the party will see the same screen.

There are a few things to keep in mind as well. Violent or sexually suggestive videos, along with videos that infringe on copyright or portrait rights,

may be subject to penalties under the operating policy, so please be careful!

Videos I Tried Watching!

This time, I watched a YouTube compilation of iconic animation scenes together with fellow Picker ‘Jaepamin.’

Thanks to the cozy atmosphere you feel right from the theater entrance, it really felt like stepping into a real movie theater!

It’s amazing that you can share hobbies like this in-game without even meeting up in person!

It was so much fun laughing and chatting in real time while watching the same scenes together.

Mabinogi Mobile already offers a lot of fun through its combat,

but because social interaction between players is such a big part of the experience, this was a social feature that really won me over!

Since it’s currently in beta, it sounds like player response will decide whether it becomes a permanent feature.

Personally, I really hope it becomes an official feature,

so even more players can create all kinds of special memories together. 😊
