Have you all heard the word “plogging”?

Plogging is a blend of the Swedish word for “picking up” (Plocka up) and “jogging” (Jogging),

and it means an eco-friendly activity where you jog lightly while picking up trash.

Today, I’d like to introduce the fun of plogging Mabinogi Mobile-style—

running all across Erinn while collecting and farming all kinds of items!

It’s a gathering lifestyle where you can take care of Erinn’s environment(?) and keep your bag nicely stocked at the same time, so shall we jump in?

1. Gathering Bloody Herbs

Bloody Herbs are an essential ingredient for making recovery potions!

Since they’re used so often, you can gather them in most areas,

including Tir Chonaill/Dugald Aisle/Dunbarton/Gairech Hills/Emain Macha.

You’ll also commonly find them in hunting grounds like Wolf Forest and Cloud Wilderness.

If you gather while wandering around as if you’re out for a stroll in town,

before you know it, your bag will be overflowing with Bloody Herbs.

And if gathering starts to feel a little repetitive, taking a moment to find a pretty view and snap a few screenshots is a great idea too!

2. Collecting Mana Stones of Life

Mana Stones of Life are used to craft excellent recovery potions.

Unlike the materials above, these are mainly obtained by defeating monsters rather than through gathering.

In particular, it’s very efficient to leave your character farming in spots where aggressive monsters appear! Repair costs might get a little high, though..!

I’ve been using the areas in Sen Mag Plateau where Parmog appears.

3. Gathering Onions, a Cooking Ingredient

Every Monday, I farm cooking ingredients.

Some NPCs ask for cooking items during barter,

and onions are needed to make Spicy Bass Soup and Pumpkin Soup!

Onions can be farmed in Dunbarton and Emain Macha.

That’s one of the great things about Mabinogi—you can gather food ingredients yourself,

which makes crafting cooking items feel even more immersive 😆

4. Farming Magic-Infused Stones

Magic-Infused Stones are a crafting material for Magic Catalysts.

*Magic Catalysts are very important items used as materials for Transcendence Engravings.

You can get them at a low rate while mining ore.

Since the drop rate is low and they’re fairly valuable, I make sure to mine diligently whenever I have some spare time.

As a nice bonus, you can level up your mining quite a bit too!

5. The Basics of Fabric, Shearing Wool

Wool is an essential material for making all kinds of fabric!

Various kinds of sheep live throughout Erinn.

There’s a special fun to seeking out and farming the right sheep depending on the grade of fabric you want to make.

As you roam around looking for fluffy sheep and filling up your bag, you can really feel the true charm of plogging!

Mabinogi Mobile isn’t just about combat,

it’s even more fun because you can explore the map like this while gathering and farming items too!
