With Arbor Day on April 5 here,

how about we take a little moment to soak in Erinn’s natural scenery together!

With everyone so busy running missions,

I’m guessing a lot of adventurers have just hurried past Erinn’s beautiful nature without really noticing it

So every once in a while, let’s pause, rest our eyes on some lovely scenery, and recharge a bit~

A picnic beneath the giant cherry blossom tree on Eluned Island

The very first place you need to visit right now is none other than ‘Eluned Island’!

Yep, it’s that very island where Tieve and Cadhan from Colhen went on their picnic~

Right in the middle of the island stands a gigantic cherry blossom tree so huge it’s hard to fit it all in one shot🌸

And around it, you’ll find more beautiful cherry trees and all kinds of colorful trees too

Since the Mabinogi Mobile 1st Anniversary Party is being held here as well,

you can spot pretty, nicely decorated areas all over the place

Everyone’s probably coming here once or twice a day for the 1st anniversary event coins,

but I bet most of you just dash in, grab the coins, and leave without really taking your time to enjoy the scenery around you

Before the boat to Eluned Island stops running, snap a commemorative photo under the cherry blossom tree,

and let yourself fully melt into the beauty of the natural scenery🥰💕

The Goddess’s Garden, gazing up at the giant maple tree

The Goddess’s Garden—have you ever really stopped to look closely at this place you probably visit often to mine copper ore?

It’s such a gorgeous spot, with a giant maple tree and a waterfall coming together in one amazing view

That towering maple tree

has a presence every bit as majestic as the cherry blossom tree on Eluned Island!

The one little shame is that the maple tree stands pretty high up,

and since there’s no path for us to climb to it, we can only admire it from a distance

Then again, maybe it’s because it’s only been viewed from afar like this

that it was able to endure the years, survive, and grow so wonderfully huge

We can’t get close to it,

but since it’s such a special maple tree growing tall in a place called the Goddess’s Garden,

wouldn’t it be lovely if some kind of event were held here~

Honestly, how about an autumn foliage festival here instead of Eluned Island in the fall?

Just standing there and taking in those red leaves would be such a nice way to feel nature’s beauty🍁

The little lotus pond in Emain Macha

Have you ever been to the pond with the stone pavilion tucked away in the eastern corner of Emain Macha?

I really think it’s gorgeous no matter when you go—whether the sun is up or the moon is out

It’s so beautiful that photos can barely do it justice!

You should absolutely visit at least once, take in the softly drooping willow trees,

and admire the lovely lotus flowers blooming thick across the water~

I went when it was dark to admire the lotuses,

and somehow it brought to mind Ophelia from Hamlet, as painted by John Everett Millais

If I remember right, I think Ruairi and Lian visited this place in the main story too…

See? It’s such a beautiful landmark that even royalty comes by~

It’s the kind of place that lifts your mood just by standing there and doing absolutely nothing,

so adventurers, please make sure to visit at least once🌿

Sidh Sneachta, holding onto the quiet of winter

Next stop: ‘Sidh Sneachta’!

It’s a wonderful place to observe how trees and other plants rest through the depths of winter

How about taking a slow walk while looking at the snow-covered conifer trees?

You can really feel the sturdy life force of plants that endure even the harshest cold

I really recommend coming here late at night or near dawn!

The sound of wind drifting in from somewhere, the faint stars twinkling in the night sky,

the tiny lights from the Moon Gate and the fireflies…

With the whole world covered in white, it almost feels like you’re walking through a dream⛄

Crackling with electricity, observing the lightning tree

This time, let’s go see a tree that’s a little strange and extra special

It’s the lightning-struck tree you can find on Sen Mag Plateau!

You can get lightning-struck branches from this very lightning tree,

and those are used to make processed items like Illusion Powder

If you get close, you can actually see electricity running through it

It’s crackling away so much, it almost makes you wonder if an adventurer could get shocked while chopping at it😲

So… is this tree actually alive?

I’ve seen stories in the news now and then about fresh sprouts growing from trees that had burned after being struck by lightning

I wonder if you can feel that same kind of resilience here too, in this part of Sen Mag Plateau that feels more barren than other regions

You never know!

Maybe the trees of Erinn are just that resilient,

and they’ve learned how to survive in harsh environments even after being struck by lightning!

Let’s take in the strength of plants that put down roots and keep growing, even in dry land👍

So then, how did everyone like seeing all these different plants in all these different environments?

Erinn’s natural scenery has just as many beautiful places as the real world,

and each one carries its own unique charm~
