[MapleLand] A Trip to Kaede Castle to See the Cherry Blossoms #벚꽃개화기

Hello,

I’m J.Mer, a Nexon Picker.

Spring is finally here, and plenty of people are heading out to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
Did you know MapleStory has a cherry blossom map too?

It’s Kaede Castle, also known as “Cherry Blossom Castle.”

This map is available on some overseas servers.
In Korea, it was released as a theme dungeon called “Cherry Blossom Castle,”
but unfortunately it was removed after the 2013 Unleashed patch.

It was one of those pieces of content that had faded into memory,

but with its return in MapleLand, it can now be enjoyed in Korean again.
Today, I’d like to share my visit to see the cherry blossoms in MapleLand!

How to Get to Kaede Castle in MapleLand

To get to Kaede Castle, you first need to travel to the Japan map.

Use the village’s World Tour Guide NPC Spinel

to pay 3,000 mesos and travel to Mushroom Shrine (Japan).

Once you arrive at Mushroom Shrine, head into the well to the left of NPC Hanako.

You’ll then arrive at a unique map called “Forest of Oblivion.”

It has a really mysterious atmosphere. From here, enter the large tree.

ocam (186)

That will take you to a map called “Kamuna.”

From here, head down to the lower-left area and you’ll find a crystal.

Interact with it and select the “Past - Kaede Castle” option.

This is the Kaede Castle we were looking for.

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom. No matter the season, this is a map where you can enjoy them 365 days a year.

From there, continue to the right to enter through the castle gate.

This area is also widely used as a low-level hunting ground.

I also remember getting some solid leveling done at Kaede Castle in the level 20–30 range.

The monsters have low HP, but they give a fairly generous amount of EXP.

Inside the castle, you can keep enjoying the fully blooming cherry blossoms.

Since the monsters are low level, even lower-level players can visit without any trouble!

Kaede Castle naturally weaves cherry blossoms throughout the entire map,

so it feels visually charming the whole time you move through it.
In particular, the cherry blossoms stretching all the way across the castle walls and rooftops were especially beautiful!

It was also a fantastic place for taking screenshots :D

So, right in time for cherry blossom season, I went to see the blossoms in MapleLand!
Since this is an area you can no longer visit in the main game,
seeing the cherry blossoms again in the nostalgic Kaede Castle felt a little special ㅎㅎ

If you love cherry blossoms, be sure to take a few screenshots at Kaede Castle!
