Today, we’ll go over Artifact and the Beginner Explorer mission in MapleStory.

As you play MapleStory, there comes a point when upgrading your gear starts to feel too expensive.

That’s when this stat boost option really helps!!

It’s Artifact!!

Let’s take a closer look at Artifact!!

Artifact Missions (General, Boss)

Artifact is designed to level up gradually just by playing the game normally.

There are 3 types of Artifact missions.

General missions and weekly missions give rewards every week, and their progress also resets weekly, so they’re great for steady growth each week.

General missions are completed through logging in & hunting,

and you can clear all of them every week.

Boss missions work by giving rewards each week based on the 3 bosses you cleared that awarded the highest EXP.

Whether you defeat lower ones first and then higher ones, or higher ones first and then lower ones, rewards are based on your top 3 highest bosses,

so as long as you clear bosses, you can think of the rewards as coming in automatically.

Artifact Missions (Special)

These are one-time rewards.

Some of the missions here are quite difficult, but some are relatively easy too.

Today, we’ll go through one of them: the ‘Beginner Explorer’ mission.

Beginner Explorer Mission

This is a special mission tied to the requirements for obtaining the ‘Beginner Explorer’ medal quest reward.

The Beginner Explorer mission

is to explore 20 designated locations in Maple World.

You can check the map and visit these 20 places,

For Ellinel, go to the Ellinel Lobby,

and for Gold Beach, just visit Gold Beach Resort.

So, is that the end?

No!

To get the Beginner Explorer medal, you also need to find Dallier,

and while Dallier is in almost every town, it’s surprisingly annoying and difficult to track down.

The easiest point to use is Sleepywood!!

If you go to the right side of Sleepywood, Dallier shows up right there like this!

After getting the medal, go back into the Artifact missions,

and you’ll see a red n on Special.

If you enter the Special menu, you can claim the EXP like this!!

The Explorer mission is easy to complete as long as you have teleport access,

so if you want to raise your Artifact level quickly, give it a try!
