April 1 is April Fools’ Day every year—a time for lighthearted jokes and a few good laughs!

Games join in too, with NPCs pulling pranks on players or special events opening just for the occasion.

Mabinogi Mobile is no exception! This time, it has prepared a special April Fools’ Day event.

How to Join the April Fools’ Day Event

The Memories That Crossed Time Event, which opened to celebrate April Fools’ Day,

runs from Wednesday, April 1 to Wednesday, April 15 at 5:59 AM.

If you log in and play for more than 2 hours, the 'Memories That Crossed Time' quest will appear, and you’ll be able to meet Nao. *This quest opens after clearing the main quest 'To Dunbarton'.

Nao says that the maximum time she can stay in Erinn is 2 hours.

Those 2 hours are a reference to 2008, when PC Mabinogi had limited playtime before it became free-to-play.

Back then, you could only play for free for 2 hours a day.

Nao’s outfit is also a style you do not usually see. After looking it up, I found that it was the outfit she wore back then.

She then reveals it was an April Fools’ prank and thanks you for playing along.

After finishing the conversation, you can receive the Time-Crossed Newbie Mask and Newbie Wear.

They are given separately for male and female characters, and I tried on the female version.

Overall, it really captured the feel of PC Mabinogi, so it brought back plenty of memories :)

It was fun being able to transform completely from head to toe!

Also, using an emote changes your facial expression. I was impressed that they paid attention to even these small details.

Last year, the reward was Newtro Pixel Sunglasses.

I wasn’t playing at the time, so I missed out then, but I’m glad I can pick up this year’s April Fools’ event rewards!
