April 1 is April Fools' Day—a chance to share a few lighthearted pranks and laughs each year!

Games often join in the fun with NPC pranks and special events.

Mabinogi Mobile is no exception, with a special event for April Fools' Day!

How to Take Part in the April Fools' Day Event

The Memories Across Time event, held in celebration of April Fools' Day,

runs from Wednesday, April 1 to Wednesday, April 15 at 5:59 a.m.

Log in and play for at least 2 hours to unlock the 'Memories Across Time' quest and meet Nao. *You must complete the main quest 'To Dunbarton' to unlock this quest.

Nao tells you that you can only stay in Erinn for 2 hours.

This is a nod to the playtime limit before Mabinogi on PC went free-to-play in 2008.

Apparently, players could only play for free for 2 hours a day back then.

Nao is also wearing an outfit I hadn't seen before. I looked it up and discovered it was the one she wore back then.

She then reveals that it was an April Fools' joke and thanks you for playing along.

Once the conversation ends, you can collect the Time-Traveling Newbie Mask and Newbie Wear.

The rewards come in separate male and female versions. I tried on the female version.

The whole look has that classic Mabinogi on PC feel, which brought back plenty of memories :)

It was fun to give my character a complete head-to-toe transformation!

Your facial expression even changes when you use emotes. I was impressed by that attention to detail.

Last year's reward was a pair of Newtro Pixel Sunglasses.

I couldn't play at the time, so I missed out, but I'm glad I could take part in this year's April Fools' Day event!
