MapleStory April Fools’ Event: A Guide to Where the Roly-Poly Workers Are

Hello to everyone who loves Nexon games,

this is Jaepamin!

Today, I’ll be going over the Maple Tip-Top Worker quest guide released for the April Fools’ event. MapleStory put together a small event with some modest rewards, and of course I couldn’t just let that pass by, so I jumped in right away.

You can start the Maple Tip-Top Worker event by clicking the star-shaped icon on the left and selecting 'Lost Tip-Top Worker'. After that, NPC Sera asks you to find a missing Tip-Top Worker from Ludibrium. The confusing part is that there are basically no hints at all, and you’re just told to go find them, so it can feel a little aimless at first. It takes a bit of time, but it’s definitely manageable.

The Maple Tip-Top Worker appears at random somewhere between Floor 1 and Floor 92 of Eos Tower, or on Floor 4 (Hidden Portal). The map is so large that it’s actually fun to wander through it while thinking back on old memories of Ludibrium. I even turned on the BGM and soaked in the atmosphere while I searched.

Just for reference, the event Tip-Top Worker is dressed in pink. The Tip-Top Workers you run into along the way wearing blue outfits have nothing to do with the event, even if you click on them, so keep that in mind. Still, seeing them here after nearly 20 years of hard work does make me wonder whether they ever get a proper day off.

I found the Tip-Top Worker on Floor 4, where the hidden portal is. If you step on the golem-shaped block on Floor 4, a hidden portal appears. When I went in, it was there waiting with an adorable little face. I had already checked all the way from Floor 1 to Floor 99 without finding it, so I only stopped by on a hunch, and sure enough, that was the spot.

The reward for the Maple Tip-Top Worker April Fools’ event is the Churros Damage Skin and 5 items with an EXP buff. The rewards aren’t anything huge, but it was still a fun little event to enjoy. I’d be glad to see another one like this later on.

I usually gave damage skins to my alt character, but this time I’m planning to keep it on my main character. It was such a lovely event, and it really made me feel like I’d gone back to childhood. Thanks for reading!
