Today, we’re going to check out a MapleLand event. This isn’t your usual event, though—it’s more of a collaboration. MapleLand and Pictra Monster have teamed up! I was really curious about this Pictra Monster quest, so today we’ll go over capturing Pictra Monsters and moving to Monster World.

Capturing Pictra Monsters

A doodle-like version of Heinz, looking like he stepped right out of a Flash game, starts talking to the player. He shares a pretty interesting story, and then asks you to try capturing Orange Mushrooms.

He gives you a Pic Ball item that lets you capture monsters. Then he tells you to go to Orange Mushroom’s House and catch 5 Tamed Orange Mushrooms.

To get to Orange Mushroom’s House, talk to doodle Heinz and click I want to move to Orange Mushroom’s House.

Just so you know, the event runs until April 13.

And just like that, you’ll arrive at Orange Mushroom’s House. Mushmom doesn’t appear here, so no need to worry, and even if you use regular attacks or skills, you’ll usually only deal around 5 damage to the Orange Mushrooms.

Next, bring the Orange Mushroom’s HP down. If you try to capture it while its HP is still too high, you’ll get a Fail message.

Once you’ve lowered its HP as much as possible, click the Pic Ball item to capture it successfully like this. Since the quest asks for 5, make sure you catch all 5. After that, the quest will be complete.

Heinz says you captured them just as he asked, and as promised, he gives you a helpful item. That item is the Unique Egg.

If you open the Unique Egg, you’ll get 5 15-minute 2x EXP Coupons and 1 Riding Orange Mushroom. The EXP coupons last until the 7th, and the Orange Mushroom lasts until the 30th, so keep that in mind.

Lastly, he tells you to open it at least once because it’ll definitely help, and that’s the end of the first quest.

Moving to Monster World

Next up is moving to Monster World. He praises the player for easily capturing the Orange Mushrooms, then introduces the world of Pictra Monster. He also says that if you complete the tasks there, you’ll get extra rewards.



If you click I want to move to Pictra Monster, you’ll be taken straight into the Pictra Monster game. I’ve introduced it before, remember? Until April 13, you can freely move from MapleLand to Pictra Monster.

There are 23 quests in total that you need to clear in Pictra Monster. If the quest called Ellinialora appears, you can basically treat that as having finished all the tasks.

Other Event Rewards

Once the event is finished, you’ll receive rewards: 10 2x EXP Coupons, 2 Select 4-Slot Expansion Tickets, and 500 World Coins.

Wrapping Up

Today, we took a look at the Pictra Monster Capture quest in MapleLand. The tasks may be a bit challenging, but the rewards are generous enough to make it feel worthwhile. Personally, I think it’s a pretty solid event.
