Hey, this is Nexon PEAKer Yonghyuksoon.
Today, I brought something that can seriously snap you right out of that spring drowsiness.
What is a Sudden Attack clan war?
If you were past middle school and spent a lot of time playing shooters with your friends, chances are it was Sudden Attack! And one of the biggest parts of that whole experience was clan war, where you could jump in and enjoy the game with your clan members.
In actual clan war, you could play with teammates from your clan or hire mercenaries, and since your record was tracked in real time, back before ranked mode even existed, it was one of the go-to modes for friends who wanted to play seriously.
That meant every single match, every single round, you had to stay locked in and go full 빡겜. I especially remember making clans by class and running class-vs-class clan wars after everyone got split up, and because it felt like my class's pride—and my own—were on the line, I would instantly crank my focus all the way up and play my heart out.
I still remember this so clearly too—once the new classes were set in spring, if I had close friends in other classes, we'd make clans by class and start class battles against each other!
From the win streak system to that intense tension
If you played Sudden Attack before competitive mode came along, then the clan war system is probably already super familiar. From A Supply Depot to 3rd Supply Depot, you can still see active clan wars running across a bunch of different maps even now.
When you play clan wars, if you run into a group around your level, you sometimes end up switching maps and just keeping the games going. We got matched with a team that felt pretty evenly matched, so we ended up running almost 4 to 5 clan war games in a row. And once the win was basically locked in, we'd start calling for a knife round and have fun that way too!
And that wraps up this content recommendation for beating spring drowsiness—we took a look at Sudden Attack clan war. If you want to tap back into those Sudden Attack memories and that nostalgic vibe, I really, really recommend Sudden Attack clan war as the perfect thing to shake off that spring slump!
