An interactive portal in DNF Mobile’s 4th anniversary event?

DNF Mobile has kicked off a major event to celebrate its 4th anniversary.
This update also brings in the Sirocco Raid, and the event rewards are packed so well that new and returning players alike now have a pretty solid runway to jump in and take a swing at it.
This might be a bit of 설레발, but the event also drops some pretty obvious 떡밥 that seem to hint at a new class, so naturally the hype is building.
Let’s go over it quickly.
Festival Castle Pop-Up Book

As soon as you log in, Winky and the crew are there to greet you.
They’re bosses from the Castle of Death farming dungeon, but this time they’ve been dressed up in a much cuter, more playful style.

The events these little guys have prepared are split into three main parts, and if you clear all of them, you can pick up the 4th Anniversary Aru, Thumbs-Up Gear, and Heart Aim Creature.
There are also more events scheduled to open in sequence on April 2 and April 9, and if you participate in both of those too, you’ll also get the 4th Anniversary Party Crown, Host Manus Creature, and Party Horn (Face Avatar).

Winky and Aru’s Festival Castle Opening Ceremony is a reward event built around weekly, special, and cumulative missions.
Rewards include an Exceed Equipment Pot, a 4th Anniversary Winky Creature (appearance only) box, and an aura (appearance only) based on the total number of Festival Cheers you’ve accumulated.

Thanks, Thumbs-Up Gear is an event where, once you log in and complete 4 missions, 5 different buffs stay active until 6:00 on May 28.
Make sure those are active before heading into regular farming dungeons or elite dungeons.

One mission in particular asks you to type “Thanks, Thumbs-Up Gear” in chat, and importantly, it still counts even in the normal chat window, not just world chat.

With this buff active, enhancement costs are reduced by 10% for +15 and below, and that same discount also applies when pushing from +15 to +16.
Since this is a recurring event, plenty of players tend to save up their enhancement attempts and go all-in during this period.

Trading with Heart Aim is a weekly event where you spend Souls, which you get from dismantling equipment, to receive things like extra weekly dungeon entry tickets and Fatigue Recovery Potions.
Arad Dimensional Traveler (new class 떡밥)

Meanwhile, once you step out of Seria’s Room, you’ll notice a mysterious portal has appeared.

If you interact with it, all you get is a message saying, “You can feel an unknown energy,” and that’s about it.

Because this seems tied to dimensions, the dominant read in the community is that the next new character after Male Fighter will probably be Knight. I’m hoping that’s the case too.

As for the event itself, when you enter a dungeon, one of the traveler friends will randomly accompany you, and each one gives a different buff.
Complete the weekly mission that requires spending 500 Fatigue and you’ll get 50 equipment crafting materials, and if you finish that three times, you can also earn an extra weekly dungeon entry ticket.
Next Highway and 4th Anniversary Gifts

Through May 28, if you designate a character at level 80 or below, you’ll get a level 80 jump along with a +15 weapon, a random Epic weapon, an Epic equipment selection box, a Unique Artifact, and various growth materials all in one go.
It’s almost identical to the Highway event that ran when Male Mage released, so for the full details, it’s best to check the post below.

Until April 23, you can also claim the 4th Anniversary broadcast celebration gift.
It includes a premium avatar (limited appearance), plus near-endgame-level aura, title, creature, and more, so this is an especially important one not to miss if you’re new or returning.

If you gear up with the equipment from these rewards, set your aura/title/creature/artifact package in place, and tighten up your account progression just a bit more, you should be in a good enough spot to challenge even the Sirocco Raid.
In DNF Mobile, the truly high-difficulty endgame content is Disaster Dungeon, while raids are designed to be more widely accessible, so they can still be tough for newer players, but they’re definitely more manageable to challenge.
Character Popularity Vote

The Character Popularity Vote will run in 5 rounds through April 30 at 6:00. In week 1, the candidates were 10,000-Count Laraa, Danjin, Chorong, and Delilah, and right now Laraa is absolutely dominating the race for first.
If you vote once per day, you’ll receive 10 Cheer Shout Potions, and these have the exact same options as Tuhampo, the endgame buff potion. They’re great for raids or Disaster content, and if you end up with extras, you can always use them in regular dungeons too.

Commemorative card distributed when Kazan was released
After that, checking the voting results will get you a commemorative card, and it’s a Unique card used for synthesis. Since the odds of it being reissued seem low, this feels like one worth keeping in your collection.
They also said that a separate item based on the final vote-winning character will be distributed later, and that sounds very similar to the weapon avatar giveaway they did through a vote not long ago, so that part has me pretty excited too.
Wrapping Up
That’s the full rundown of the DNF Mobile 4th anniversary event guide.
PC DNF also happens to be in the middle of the Cheonhaecheon update right now, so deciding where to spend your time could be a real question. But if you want something you can play anytime, anywhere on your phone and enjoy in a comparatively lighter way, DNF Mobile looks like a very solid pick.
With Next Highway, raising just one or two characters takes less than 30 minutes a day, so honestly, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to 찍먹 both.
