DNF Mobile has kicked off a major event to celebrate its 4th anniversary.

This update also introduces the Sirocco Raid, and the generous event rewards give even new and returning players a solid foundation for taking it on.

​

I might be getting a little ahead of myself, but the events even include what looks like a hint at a new class—one more reason to get excited.

Let's take a quick look.

Festival Castle Pop-Up Book

Log in, and Winky and friends will be there to greet you.

You might recognize them as the bosses from the Castle of the Dead farming dungeon, now all dressed up in adorable little outfits.

They have three main events lined up, and taking part in all of them will earn you the 4th Anniversary 아루, 따봉 기어, and 하트에임 Creatures.

Two more events will open on April 2 and April 9. Take part in both as well to receive the 4th Anniversary Party Crown, Host 마누스 Creature, and Party Horn (Face Avatar) on top of those rewards.

In Winky and 아루's Festival Castle Opening Ceremony, you earn rewards by completing weekly, special, and cumulative missions.

Rewards include an Exceed Equipment Pot, a 4th Anniversary Winky Creature (Cosmetic) Box, and an Aura (Cosmetic) based on the total number of Festival Cheers you collect.

For Thank You, 따봉기어, log in and complete 4 missions to activate 5 buffs that last until May 28 at 6 AM.

Make sure to activate them before heading into regular farming dungeons or Elite Dungeons.

One mission asks you to type '따봉기어야 고마워' in chat, and normal chat counts—there's no need to use world chat.

With this buff active, reinforcement costs for equipment at +15 or below are reduced by 10%, including attempts to go from +15 to +16.

This event comes around regularly, so many players wait for it to do their reinforcement in one big batch.

In A Deal with 하트에임, you turn in Souls (obtained by disassembling equipment) each week for rewards such as extra weekly dungeon entry tickets and Fatigue Recovery Elixirs.

Arad Dimensional Travelers (A New Class Tease)

Meanwhile, a mysterious portal has appeared just outside Seria's room.

Interact with it, and all you get is the message, 'You sense an unknown energy.'

Given its connection to dimensions, the prevailing community theory is that Knight will be the next new character after Male Fighter. I'm hoping that's the case too.

As for the event itself, a randomly selected traveler friend joins you when you enter a dungeon, with each one providing a different buff.

Complete the weekly mission to spend 500 Fatigue to earn 50 equipment crafting materials. Finish it three times, and you'll also receive an extra weekly dungeon entry ticket.

Next Highway and 4th Anniversary Gifts

Until May 28, select a character at level 80 or below to receive a jump to level 80, a +15 weapon, a random Epic weapon, an Epic Equipment Selection Box, a Unique Artifact, and assorted progression materials—all in one go.

You can also claim the 4th anniversary broadcast gifts until April 23.

These include Advanced Avatars with limited-edition looks, a near-best-in-slot Aura, Title, and Creature, and more. New and returning players in particular won't want to miss these rewards.

Get your reward gear, Aura, Title, Creature, and Artifact set up, then round out your character's progression a little more, and even the Sirocco Raid should be well within reach.

In DNF Mobile, Disaster Dungeons fill the high-difficulty endgame role, while raids are generally designed for everyone to enjoy. That means raids may be a little tough for beginners, but they're still a relatively approachable challenge.

Character Popularity Poll

The character popularity poll runs for 5 rounds until April 30 at 6 AM. The week 1 candidates are 만개의 라라아, Danjin, 초롱이, and Delilah, with 라라아 holding a commanding lead.

Vote once each day to receive 10 Cheer of Support Potions. These have the same effects as the top-tier buff potion, Warlord's Cry Potion, making them great for raids or Disaster content. If you have plenty to spare, you can use them in Elite Dungeons too.

Afterward, check the voting results to receive a commemorative card—a Unique card for combining. It's unlikely to be issued again, so I'd recommend holding on to it as a collectible.

There's also a separate item planned based on the character that wins the final vote. This sounds similar to the weapon avatars handed out through a recent vote, so I'm looking forward to seeing it.
