Trying a Personal Color Self-Diagnosis for the DNF Mobile Siroco Raid Bosses

Personal color is a color-theory concept that refers to “the group of colors that harmonizes best with your natural physical coloring.” Since everyone’s built-in palette—skin, eyes, hair, and so on—is a little different, wearing colors that suit it can make the face look brighter and healthier.

On March 26, the Sirocco Raid was added to DNF Mobile, so for fun, I figured I’d try giving the bosses that appear there their own personal color diagnoses.

Rosenberg of Ashen Gray - Deep Winter Cool Tone

Rosenberg of Ashen Gray is a former wandering mercenary. He originally gained an Ashen Ghost Arm under Sirocco’s influence, but after Kazan left for the underworld, he was overtaken by the lingering energy Kazan left behind, went berserk, and transformed into a red-hued Ghost Arm. In other words, he’s set up as a character who shows blind hostility toward everything in front of him.

His overall image lands closer to cold, extreme contrast than simple dullness. With that mix of cool gray and vivid red energy, Deep Winter cool tone feels like the natural fit—deep burgundy and dark red suit him better than muted autumn reds.

Mandarin of White Flower - Soft Summer Cool Tone

Mandarin of White Flower was once a renowned Nen Master from Suju, but ended up becoming one of Sirocco’s subordinates. She was famous for blooming white nen flowers, which is why she came to be called “White Flower.”

As a 70-year-old Nen Master from Suju who blooms white nen flowers, she gives off a gentle, calm image that leans toward cool white light. Rather than a bright, punchy Spring Warm, she reads more like Soft Summer cool tone, with soft lilac, pale purple, and soft pink—like a watered-down watercolor wash.

Ezra the Prophet - Deep Autumn Warm Tone

A 50-year-old human male, he is a figure who deifies Sirocco. He’s basically a heavy-duty fanatic from the ground up—to the point that if you play as an Inquisitor, the two dislike each other enough to get into a verbal fight.

If you bundle together religious madness, the Black Earth, and the Screaming Cavern, he calls for sunken tones like aged burgundy, dark brown, and khaki rather than a clean, vivid red. That makes Deep Autumn Warm the best match.

Mirage of Twilight - True Autumn Warm Tone

A human woman in her 30s, she was once a kind mage who studied herbs and magic, helped people, and even took care of Roseberrylon and Sorun after they lost their parents. But after becoming one of Sirocco’s subordinates, she says she wants to revive Sirocco to make some wish come true.

She has a warm, comforting image, but there’s also a strong lingering note of evening twilight. Since she brings to mind a dusk-colored palette of toned-down orange brown, mauve brown, and slightly reddish beige, True Autumn Warm (or possibly Soft Autumn) feels most natural.

Ashen Longing - Light Summer Cool Tone

It takes on the appearance of a younger Aganzo. This form was created from Roxy reminiscing about the moments when he shone brightest and the moments when he was happiest, and that youthful look implies that as time passes, even Aganzo’s very existence is gradually fading.

So this isn’t full darkness so much as the feeling of a thin mist—longing for brighter, happier moments. That makes Light Summer/Pale Summer cool tone a strong fit, with low-saturation cool pastels like light grayish blue and lavender.

Murky Kane - Deep Winter Cool Tone

A swordsman who died fighting Sirocco after encountering her while investigating the Screaming Cavern, then became a soul of the underworld.

The word “murky” fits deep navy and charcoal black better than a cloudy warm palette. To bring out the chill of the underworld, spirits, and the Screaming Cavern, Deep Winter Cool works best, with black, deep purple, and deep blue as the key colors.

Bleak Memory - Deep Winter or Deep Autumn

This form was created from the painful memories of Roxy’s life, and it’s deliberately set apart from Ashen Longing.

If you emphasize brutal contrast, dark red afterimages, and heavy black-purple tones, then Deep Winter Cool fits. If you push it toward muddy dark brown and burgundy, Deep Autumn Warm also works. Then again... it’s not wearing clothes anyway, so you do start wondering whether it even needs a personal color diagnosis.

Faint Hitana - True Winter Cool Tone

A swordswoman from Suju affiliated with Mist, she loves fighting so much that she’ll throw herself into conflict and chaos on purpose. She carries a black blade, and when she swings it, the trail appears as though it were painted with an ink-soaked brush. Alongside Kane, she died fighting Sirocco while investigating the Screaming Cavern and became a soul of the underworld.

Her combative personality and those ink-brush sword trails call for a high-contrast palette, which is why True Winter Cool suits her so well—cool black, pure white, and vivid teal or magenta all fit the brief.

Lalaa the Flailing - Bright Spring Warm Tone

A 21-year-old dark elf woman, she was once the protagonist’s companion, but jealousy toward the protagonist led her down the wrong path, and she ended up being corroded by Sirocco. Sirocco controlled her body and then discarded it, after which Hitana in turn became corrupted by Lalaa’s Ghost Arm and took control.

To show both youthful energy and twisted jealousy at once, you want high-saturation colors like fluorescent lime green, vivid magenta, and sharp yellow. So placing her on the Vivid/Bright Spring side and building the concept around unstable neon color makes a lot of sense.

Roxy - Deep Autumn Warm Tone

A 357-year-old dark elf woman (at the time of death), she is Aganzo’s lover. She appears in a berserk state like she did during the battle where she traded her life to take down Sirocco, and it’s said that even in death, her desire to protect Aganzo remained so strong that she continued fighting alone in the underworld.

The image here is strongly “red earth,” with love, obsession, and sacrifice all mixed together. To highlight the durability and weight of someone still fighting alone in the underworld, Deep Autumn Warm fits better than a gleaming cool red, with shades like dark brown, burgundy, and red bronze.

Sirocco of Erosion - True Winter Cool Tone

She is the mastermind behind all the despairing events that took place in DNF Mobile, and one of the Apostles alongside Lotus, Ozma, and Anton. In PC DNF, she is described as “the unseen one with hundreds of faces” and transforms into many different forms, but in mobile, she appears in only a single form.

With snake-like eyes, sharp nails, and elaborate accessories, she gives off the impression of a blade queen. Her skin tone is also closer to flesh than purple, and she wears her hair long and loose.

To bring out the Apostle, despair, erosion, serpent, and cold queen angles, cool black, metallic silver, and toxic purple are the strongest fit. True Winter Cool (or possibly Bright Winter) works nicely here, built around a purple–black–silver three-color axis.

Wrapping Up

And that wraps up this personal color diagnosis of the Sirocco Raid bosses in DNF Mobile. Looking at them this way, it really stands out how closely the concept work and the actual color design line up. They’re even more striking when you run into them in the dungeon itself, so if you get the chance, they’re worth seeing for yourself.
