In Mabinogi Mobile, just like in the original Mabinogi,

composing music and playing instruments offer plenty of ways to enjoy the game.

Ensemble performances, where several people play the same song together,

bring all sorts of players together, much like the Town Musicians of Bremen.

Today, I'd like to share my experience playing in an in-game ensemble.

A chance encounter,

and an invitation to join an ensemble!

While wandering around Emain Macha on my own,

I happened to come across a group of guild members gathered together.

As I stood there, they asked if I'd like to join their ensemble.

I'd never tried it before, but I was curious, so I said yes.

We each had an assigned instrument and a turn to come in, joining the performance one by one.

It was a proper ensemble performance, with harmonies building as we played.

The song was LEE CHANHYUK's “Endangered Love,”

which I like and listen to from time to time.

Hearing it played by an ensemble had a charm of its own.

After the performance, we politely said our goodbyes,

and I continued on my way.

Until then, I'd focused only on combat in Mabinogi Mobile,

but that experience got me really interested in its life-skill content, too.

Playing in an ensemble with my guildmates!

I also play in ensembles with my guildmates from time to time.

One of the guild quests in Mabinogi Mobile involves playing in an ensemble with guildmates,

so we play together once a week, too.

If transcription is enabled during an ensemble performance,

you can save the song as sheet music like this.

Not everyone allows it, so it might be worth asking first.

That's how playing in ensembles became an occasional part of my time in Mabinogi Mobile.
