The weather's warming up, and that springtime sleepiness hits as soon as I sit down after a meal!!

Luckily, DNF's new 천해천 season is here to wake us right up.

Today, let's run through the basics of farming in DNF's 천해천.

Returning & New Players

Coming back after a long break or just getting started? Let's tackle the questions you're probably wondering about first!

0. Do we get a character boost?

Yep, you get Burst Up tickets! You can boost 1 buffer character and 1 character of any advancement.

1. What should I do about the episodes?

You can play through every episode, but if you're all about the farming like me,

skip straight to the 천해천 episode.

You can start farming without clearing the Epic Quests.

2. I don't have 중천 gear. Is that okay?

For now, you're good!

This season's items are “Covenants,” and you'll also pick up last season's 중천 gear while farming them.

They'll be giving out plenty of Primeval gear through future events, too, so let's go all in on farming Covenants.

3. I have old gear. What should I do with it?

If you've been playing this whole time, use your own judgment. But if you're coming back like me, you can just dismantle the lot.

Even the default Covenant Crystals they give you will make you way stronger than before once you equip them.

Seon > 천해천 Lower Level > 별거북대서고 > 최후의 조율자

Here's your Hell Party for the season.

Keep heading right, clear the trash-mob rooms, and take down the scales(?) for item drops.

Of course, you might get absolutely nothing..

Burn through your Fatigue Points, then dismantle every item you picked up.

No worries—they still get registered in the Armory when you dismantle them.

Then open the Armory and check for upgrades.

Right now, you're better off equipping whatever's stronger instead of chasing set bonuses.

Signs of Attunement

This is the new pity system.

Clearing 최후의 조율자 has a chance to trigger Signs of Attunement.

Each time you clear 최후의 조율자,

you'll either gain a Sign of Attunement, reset it and collect rewards, or see no change.

Those are the possible outcomes.

The more Signs of Attunement you stack up, the bigger the rewards get.

Stage 1 → An extra Unique Covenant or Covenant Crystal

Stage 2 → An extra Legendary

Stage 3 → An extra Epic

Stage 4 → An extra Primeval

That's the progression!

I haven't even seen Stage 3 myself..
