This time, the focus is on lo-fi, with a look at the music available on Nexon's official sound team channel.

Nexon's official sound team YouTube channel is called NECORD MUSIC. It features a wide variety of music beyond the scope of this article, so if you enjoy the original background music from MapleStory and other Nexon games, it is well worth exploring.

I had heard the term lo-fi from time to time without really knowing what it meant, so I looked it up. Lo-Fi is short for Low Fidelity and broadly describes warm, calm music with a low-fidelity sound and audible noise. It is apparently a popular genre, and I think it is a welcome move for the official channel to embrace that popularity by creating and sharing remakes of existing background music.
